WEMCO-Screw Impeller
 The WEMCO® Screw Centrifugal pump is equipped with a classic single
vane screw centrifugal impeller. The long-established screw centrifugal
design provides clog-resistant pumping for trouble free movement of
solids, and fibrous and stringy materials.
Features:
 Clog-free pumping with unique screw-centrifugal impeller easily
pumps solids and stringy, fibrous materials without plugging.
 Gentle action prevents damage to delicate solids or biological flocs.
 Steep head/capacity curve minimizes interruptions in capacity,
prevents motor overloads, and provides additional pressure to blow

 Develop an alternate lip seal design to expand sourcing options
 Develop double keyed impeller designs
 Source food grade grease (NSF certified) that can be used in place of
the moly grease for some applications
