The theme of my SBA is technology. I joined the group because I could not do it alone and by
any means of help my SBA will be successful. Also it will be beneficial because we share a
common theme “Technology”.
We decided to use an article, a poem and a picture to answer our three questions. These three
questions are:
What is the impact of technology on social behaviour?

This study discusses the impacts technology has had on social behavior. The change in
communication mediums is addressed. Although face-to-face communication has decreased,
technology has provided opportunities for aiding in communication. The video game and the
Internet community are investigated for their positive and negative traits, but also for the
information the new Internet culture can provide for us. Internet “trolls” can give us
information on dealing with bullies, and social media websites make it clear that today’s youth
may need to be educated on the appropriate use of communication technology

What are the benefits of technology in schools

● Technology Prepares Students for the Future (article)

Many students believe that using technology in the classroom will help prepare them for the digital
future. These 21st-century skills are essential in order to be successful in this day and age. Jobs that
may not have had a digital component in the past may have one now. Education isn’t just about
memorizing facts and vocabulary words, it’s about solving complex problems and being able to
collaborate with others in the workforce. Ed-tech in the classroom prepares students for their future
and sets them up for this increasingly digital economy.

● Technology in the Classroom Makes Learning More Fun (article)

Students prefer technology because they believe that it makes learning more interesting and fun.
They especially like laptops and tablets. Subjects that students deem challenging or boring can
become more interesting with virtual lessons, through a video, or when using a tablet.

Although most workers recognize that technology will disrupt the way they work in the future,

few can picture exactly what these changes will look like.As a result, workers are enthusiastic

about the opportunity to master new technology, but they also fear that technology may

eliminate their current roles or future job opportunities.Clutch surveyed 521 employees to learn

how technology is disrupting both workplace processes and plans for the future.You can use

this article to better understand how employees’ hopes and fears about technology and the

future of work impact morale at your business.

For all three pieces, we used SOAPSTONES procedures to analyze each documents and the text

analysis matrix to allow for easier comparison of the three pieces. SOAPSTONES require us to

identify the speaker, occasion, audience, purpose, subject, tone and style for each selected

piece. This was done in the matrix.
