CONSTRUCTION PUBLIC LIBRARY IN BORAMA

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project is a constructional project. It is to put up a two floor building. With an extra 2 room
for guard room and cafeteria room block. this project is capable to contain more than 200
people with availability of a reading equipment, this project funded by three parts, 19%
community fund and 32% local government and 49% of the budget funded by the African
education trust.

PROJECT SCOPE

The purpose of this project is a construction public library for the community, Project Concept
document is to Make sure the project if is it well prepared in papers and have available
resource . and to narrow the focus to one specific option, and make a formal recommendation
to the three participant of the project.

The goal is to build public library of at least 10,000 square feet. The library, whether it is
remodeled or new would:

• Incorporate green or energy efficient features

• Be located on the strategic place where every reader can reach it

• Have sufficient parking and handicap accessibility

• Be within the downtown area or within easy walking distance

• Be furnished and equipped by using existing funds, money from penal fines, grants,
donations and a possible capital campaign

PROJECT FUNDERS

Project funders are three parts as we mentioned at the project description. These projects
funders are divided into three parts, 19% community fund and 32% local government and 49%
of the budget funded by the African education trust.
PROJECT GOAL AND OBJECTIVES

The project Goal is to provide borama community a library facility to bridge the reading gab of
borama community and to cover the needs a perfect place for reading . However the following
objectives are to be achieved in order to achieve the goal:,

1- to find a good strategic place for reading to build the library

2- Build a two floor facility for borma community by the end of the project

3- Build two block rooms one for guard and other for median cafeteria for borma
community by the end of the project.
4- Buying the material of the library like chairs and tables and so on for borama community
by the end of the project.
