Statement of Purpose:
Dear Manassas Park High School Family,
I am honored to have the opportunity to serve the students families, staff, and community of
Manassas Park High School. With the help of our entire community, we will ensure that all
students can reach their highest potential. Expectations of Excellence may be out vision at
Manassas Park Schools, but it is also what we strive to exceed everyday by:

 ensuring that all members of the school community feel safe and respected;
 optimizing the use of technology for instruction through the MPCS Connects! Initiative;
 help develop modern skills, as found in the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Profile of a
Graduate;
 creating and maintaining programs to address real-world issues and concerns;
 providing all students with high-quality, appealing, and rigorous instruction that prepares
them to be life ready;
 embracing our diversity and building and maintaining a sense of community.

The purpose of this 90-Day Entry Plan is to ensure that I hold myself responsible to address the
needs of our school division in a appropriate manner. It will be reviewed every thirty days to
ensure that it is still the best fit for Manassas Park High School.
I have faith in in the value of shared decision-making and empowering stakeholders to lead
growth and change. Each member of our community has powerful thoughts and ideas that could
benefit Manassas Park High School. For this reason, I welcome your thoughts and feedback, I
would strong encourage you to set up a time to meet with me.
Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to serve Manassas Park High School. I look
forward to the continuation of the strong traditions, the start of new ones, and the expectations of
excellence that make this school and community great!

1. Establish a positive school environment by building relationships with assistant
principals, teachers, staff, students, parents, and community members.
2. Use data to initiate and drive instructional decision making
3. Encourage and increase innovation and technology usage among teachers and within
classrooms
4. Map subject curriculum for all departments through the first and second quarter
5. Increase parental involvement with instructional content at home
