Background
-Computures have been used in education since the 1960's.
First as a data collection tool by administrators and office
staff. With the rise of the apple ll PC and microsoft in the early
90's coupled with the web in the mid 90's schools began to look
to technology more to help deepen learnign experinces.

-By the mid 2010's 1/3 of schools were 1:1. schools had select
teachers or classes who specialized in PC's and tech. When Covid-
19 hit the U.S. this changed everything. Schools across the
country begun to supply students with PC's as the shift to digital-
at-home learning was set in motion

-Following the pandemic 90% of schools were now 1:1.

Schools begun to look at PC's and tech not just as a
suplemental tool but as a tool to change how we teach. A
need for teachers to become experts in identifying and
implementing rich tech arose.
