INSTRUCTION

1. Presentation must be delivered in English.

2. Each presentation is 10 – 15 minutes long.

3. Submit your video presentation to you FACE-TO-FACE TUTOR.

4. Submission date: 29th March 2020.

5. This video presentation accounts for 40% of the total marks for the course.

EVALUATION

This task accounts for 40% of the total marks for the course and shall be assessed
based on the Rubrics attached.

You would be given feedback on the assignment before the Final Semester
Examination commences.

TASK FOR VIDEO PRESENTATION

This task is an individual assignment and must be submitted to your face-to-face


tutor.

TASK
You have found a suitable job vacancy on the website of a famous company in
Malaysia. You are interested in applying for the job offer. The company requires you
to submit a 10 - 15 minutes video presenting your resume/Curriculum Vitae (CV) and
an oral presentation video of yourself.

Therefore, what you need to do for this task are:


a. "Create" a suitable job position for yourself and the company. You are free to
choose any post that are relevant to your interest or qualification.
b. Prepare a resume / Curriculum Vitae.
c. Record a 10 - 15 minutes video recording that contains important details
about you, your job, etc. For example, you can mention about your academic
qualifications, background, the expertise / experience you have, and so on.
i. Make sure that the first part of the video is the presentation of your
CV / resume (clearly shown the copy of your CV / resume).
ii. For this purpose, you are advised to read and reference what are
appropriate and should be stated / inappropriate and should not be
stated in the video. Make it professional!
d. Make sure the recording content is engaging and convincing. In other words,
“you are the script writer and the producer!” Therefore, you need to use your
creativity to ensure the video recording is generated in the audience's interest.

Refer to the assignment rubrics as a guide to achieve cohesion and coherence.
