A.   TECHNOLOGY PLAN 
I. Course Design (For UC only)

a. Nominal Duration: 72 hours


 Online: 22 hours
 Face to face: 50 hours

b. Trainee Requirements 
 Must have completed at least Junior High School/ High School or an
ALS Graduate with a Certificate of Achievement
 Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing
 Must be have an idea about at least computer literacy such as MS word
 Must be able how to compute basic mathematical computation

c. Trainer Requirements
 
To qualify as Trainer for Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II Level, a
person must:
 Must have a Electrical Installation and Maintenance NCII or higher
level
 Must have a 2 years’ experience in electrical industry or teaching
experience
 Must be computer literate
 Must have a Trainer’s Methodology level II certificate
 Must have finish training in Online Blended Learning

d. Monitoring and Grading System

Online: Using Built-in Learning Management System (LMS) Monitoring System


such as logs reports, activity reports, and grade book shall be used to track the
attendance and learning progress of the trainees. The activity completion tracker
shall be enabled for the participants to monitor their own progress.

Face to Face: Competent or Not yet Competent - Monitored thru Progress Chart,
Log Book, Attendance Sheet, Progress Sheet, Achievement Chart with Trainees
Record Book (TRB)
e. Institutional Assessment System 

The following assessment methods shall be used for assessing the competency of
the participants and shall focus on the core units of competency. The basic and
common units shall be integrated or assessed concurrently with the core units.

Online:
 Computer-based test - This is composed of multiple choice test given
online. The computer based test shall only be opened to a particular
participant scheduled for assessment during a designated time. If the
participant failed to take the test during the designated time, he should
notify the online mentor for another schedule of test. A trainee should
be able to get at least 80% of the correct answers to pass the test.

 Portfolio Assessment - This refers to the outputs as requirements of


competency being assessed. This shall be done as the participant
progresses in his learning activities per Learning Outcome. (e.g.
technology plan, study guide, hands on workshop in the development
site)

Face to Face:
 Direct observation and questioning
 Demonstration (able to impart knowledge and skills)
 Project method
 Practical Lab/Exercises

f. Training Plan/Schedule
 
The training shall run for two (2) weeks depending on the progress and paced of
the learner. A more detailed breakdown of schedules, which include learning
activities deadline of submission of outputs, and assessment, shall be indicated in
the study guide which will be uploaded to the LMS to serve as further guidance to
ensure completion of the program

II.   Training Package 

A Unit of Competency 1 for Perform roughing-in, wiring and cabling works for
single-phase distribution, power, lighting and auxiliary systems in the Core
Competency is prepared, see attached. The e-learning material is a package
consisting of web scripts, videos, quizzes, interactive elements, task sheets with
performance criteria checklist. The institutional competency assessment is
composed of computer-based test on the LMS and Portfolio. While for the face-
to-face assessment were the direct observation and question, demonstration,
project method and practical laboratory exercises. These are all in the course area
for Electrical Installation and Maintenance NCII

B.    INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT SYSTEM 
I. The Learning Management System 
a. The TESDA Online Program Learning Management System (LMS) shall be
utilized as the training platform which can be accessed at www.etesda.gov.ph ,and
another LMS shall be used as the hands-on development site which can be accessed at
https://ptctarlac .gnomio.com 
b. Type of Connection:

c.  Course Overview 
 This course is design to learn more knowledge about this Competency.
The training can helps you to boost your work values, work attitude
and more efficient in accordance with the standards in Technical-
Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector under the
qualification of Electrical Installation and Maintenance NCII

The facilitator/Teacher is online to responce the participants questions and
queries from Monday to Friday at 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

i. Learning Materials 
The following learning materials shall be used in the training:
 Interactive learning materials with self-check – the interactive
eLearning materials were developed by e TESDA Division. The
eLearning materials were bundled by learning outcome. The
eLearning materials have the following parts:
1. Learning Objectives - is to get idea what are you doing
the entire training.
2. Learning Contents - The participants determined the
lessons in the competency that they enroll.
3. Interactive Learning Activities - Participants can easily
understand by watching videos about the lesson
enroll with a interactive question inside the
video.
4. Self-checks with auto feedback - The participants can
get the result of the task that they finish.
5. Task Sheets with Performance Criteria Checklist -
Participants will evaluate about the task they
done
.
Task Sheets, Performance Criteria Checklists and output templates are
downloadable from the eLearning materials so that the task sheets maybe
done offline.
 
ii. Computer - Base Examinition - Simply refers to tests and assessments
conducted through the use of the organized systems on computers. This is
required per Learning Outcomes.

Task sheet - A checklist that you use to track important activities that you
must perform.

Discussion Forum - Participants can leave and expect to see responses to


messages you have left.

Video Conference - The trainer/ facilitator conduct a webinar by using


computer networks to transmit audio and video data. 

Submission Bins - participants shall upload their outputs for trainer


evaluation and download the comments and suggestions of the
online mentor through this interface.
