TECHNOLOGY PLAN AND INFRASTRUTURE SUPPORT SYSTEM 

Technical Drafting NC II
Blended Learning Delivery
  
A.   TECHNOLOGY PLAN 
I. Course Design 
a. Nominal Duration: (206 hours)
i. On Line Delivery - 54 hrs
ii. Off Line Delivery – 152 hrs
b. Trainee Requirements 
i. Can communicate either oral and written;
ii. Must pass the trainability/aptitude test.
iii. Computer literate and Familiar with the use
of Internet Technology (email, social
media, etc.)
iv. With access to internet enabled devices
such as mobile phone, Computer, etc.

c. Trainer Requirements 
i. Must be a holder of Technical Drafting NC II
ii. Must have undergone training on Training Methodology II (TM II)
iii. Must be physically and mentally fit
iv. *Must have at least 5 years job/industry experience*
v. Must be a civil service eligible (for government position or appropriate
professional license issued by the Professional Regulatory Commission)
vi. With relevant training in facilitating eLearning Sessions
vii. Preferably with relevant training in LMS Administration

d. Monitoring and Grading System 

Will be using a Learning Management Software (LMS) to provide e-learning


resource and activities, facilitate student submissions, monitor student
performance and progress

e. Institutional Assessment System 

The following assessment methods shall be used for assessing the competency of
participants:

Portfolio assessment – This refers to the outputs as requirements of competency


being assessed. This shall be done as the participant progresses in his learning
activities per Learning Outcome. (e.g. Reports, Performance Criteria Checklist
Result, etc.)

Online Test / Quiz – This is a test given online using various method of
assessment to assess learner’s underpinning knowledge. The Online test/quiz shall
only be opened to the learner for a specific scheduled time after determining progress
of the learner per Learning Outcome with specific set of conditions. To pass the
learner must have a rating of at least 80% of the correct answers.

Performance Demonstration – This will be done using face to face method to


evaluate the learners’ level of competence in a particular Units of Competency with
the aid of a Performance Task with Oral Questioning and Evaluation Criteria
Checklist

f. Training Plan/Schedule 

The training shall run for 6 weeks for all competencies under Technical
Drafting NC II. A more detailed breakdown of schedules, which include
learning activities deadline of submission of outputs, and assessment, shall be
indicated in the study guide which will be uploaded to the LMS to serve as
further guidance to ensure completion of the program.

II.  Training Package 

1. A CBC for Technical Drafting NCII is prepared.

2. Once enrolled the learner shall be able to access the e-learning material package
uploaded to the Learning Management System (LMS).

3. Formative Assessment shall be through e-quizzes, specific task and job for each
activities whose results can be uploaded to the LMS.

4. The result of these formative assessment shall make up the Portfolio requirements
of the Institutional Assessment which shall be the combination of performance
demonstration with oral questioning and electronic-based examination which shall
serve as the summative assessment of the learner.

III.  Supplies, materials and equipment 


 Learner need to have access to the following in order to facilitate blended training.

B.    INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT SYSTEM 


I. The Learning Management System 
a. The TESDA Online Program Learning Management System (LMS) shall be
utilized as the training platform which can be accessed at www.e-tesda.gov.ph.
Another LMS shall be used as the hands-on development site which can be
accessed at https://tesda.nephilaweb.org/
b. Type of connection: MOODLE v. 3.8, Cloud Server

c.  Course Overview 

This course is designed to develop & enhance the knowledge, skills, & attitudes
of an AutoCAD Operators, in accordance with industry standards.
It covers the basic and common competencies in addition to the core
competencies such as to Prepare and set-up tools and materials for drawing, Draft
Site development plan, Draft Floor plan, Draft roof plans, Draft ceiling plans,
Draft elevations and sections.

d. Help Features (Technical Support System) 


The following technical support are provided on the LMS and Training
Advisories:
 Features of the Moodle LMS
 How to enroll
 How to login
 How to send Message
 Technical Support Groups using Social Media Platforms such as
Facebook etc. and Conferencing Platform such as Zoom, G-meet etc.
 a special forum shall be made available to the student via the LMS to
answer Frequently Asked Questions.

e. Enrolment System 

Students will be able to enrol to the Blended-training program using two methods:
First through the self-enrolment using the provided enrolment key and Second
Manual enrolment by the Trainer.

f. Monitoring System for Learner’s Progress 

The following built-in LMS monitoring tools shall be used in monitoring


learner’s progress:

g. Learner Support System 
i. Trainer to Peer communication  shall be open from 8 am to 5 pm
everyday for on-line delivery and offline delivery. The following
mechanism shall be used:

 Discussion Forum: Can be accessed through the LMS
ii. Peer to Peer communication

i. Learning Materials 

The following learning materials shall be used in the training:

 Competency Based Learning Materials – Printed Modules made available


for trainees in book form.
 Interactive learning materials with self-checks.

 The e-learning materials were bundled by learning outcome. The e-


learning materials have the following parts:

1. Introduction
2. Learning Objectives
3. Learning Contents
4. Interactive Learning Activities
5. Self-checks with auto feedback
6. Task Sheets with Performance Criteria Checklist

 Task Sheets, Performance Criteria Checklists and output templates shall be


downloadable through LMS.

 Online Quizzes for multiple choices, true or false, enumeration and the likes
are auto checked, while essay based shall be rated using rubrics and shall be
submitted and manually checked by the trainer.

 Templates used for required output as part of the portfolio shall be downloaded
from the LMS

 Submission Bins –uploading interfaces for particular outputs (e.g. study guide)
are provided on the LMS.

 The participants shall upload their outputs for trainer evaluation and download
the comments and suggestions of the online trainer through this interface.

 An auto notification email is sent by the LMS both to the participant and the
online trainer in case of submission to these interfaces.

 Discussion Forum is where trainee can communicate with other trainee. This
component of the LMS is not a live discussion area but all enrolled trainees
will be able to see all posts and replies. This component will encourage
discussion of the topics being learned.

 Video Conferencing will also be done using various video conferencing


platform and will be recorded for trainees who failed to participate in the
discussions.

 Announcement and/or schedules of online meeting / video conference shall be


made available to trainee prior to the said schedule, or on a fix time and date
during the course of the training.

The following personnel shall serve as the trainers/facilitator for this training:
III. Facilities 

The training will be conducted both online and offline. For Online, it will be (a) Webinar
type via Google Meet or Zoom; (b) Learning Management System using Moodle. For Offline,
classroom shall be used with only 10 students per session.
