offered a position stated herein under the reference in the aforementioned authority.

I am a Ugandan by nationality, aged twenty five (25). I pursued and completed a

career programme leading to the following award: Bachelor of Science in Civil
Engineering at Makerere University.

I happen to be associated with a sound knowledge base, great deal of humility, skill
transferability and an appreciable degree of capableness to conform to any working
environment. I am a committed and self-motivated fellow with a vivid understanding of
civil engineering works and utilizes sound organization, interpersonal and planning skills
to deliver assignments within set timeframes and to a high quality standard. I have,
over a period of time, gained substantial experience through field exposure and
internship trainings conducted by Mt. Elgon Labour-based Training Centre (MELTC) in
Mbale; and I, on this note, strongly believe that with such acquired competence and
adeptness, will develop the enthusiasm and thrust to undertake and accomplish my
duties as assigned on time.

With a keen observation of the Authority’s vision, its mission and mandate and an
understanding of its goals, I will be looking forward to working hard and in good
cooperation with fellow employees to realize both the mandate and goals in the short
term and mission in the long run while focusing on the vision.

I have attached to this letter a copy of UNRA’s Application for Employment Form, copies
of my academic qualifications, curriculum vitae and other relevant credentials as may
deem necessary.
