Important Instructions for the paper setters of


Mid/Remedial/Backlog/Internal EXAMINATIONS

1. Remove the borders of table & bloom’s level denoting column once you have
prepared the manuscript.
2. Duly check the Date, Time & Subject Name/Code/Applicable branches (Mention that
to which branch students it is applicable, take care in case of electives & shifts)
before printing which should be as circulated (Consider the latest time table available
on institute website to avoid any discrepancy).
3. Replace the data with appropriate information wherever necessary and especially
where there is red font. In common subject, both institutes’ names should be
mentioned.
4. Properly verify all the questions and demarcation should be done in proper manner.
5. Strictly follow the format from header to footer which has been sent by exam dept.
6. After completion of printing work and sealing of envelopes, remove the soft as well
as hard copies from public access area. Paper Printing & Photostat work is to be carried
out on "previous working day" of respective subject exam between 10:30 am to 01:00 pm to
maintain utmost secrecy & confidentiality of the paper.
7. Manuscript should be prepared according to unit wise weightage given in GTU
syllabus.
8. In all semesters, It should not include any MCQ.
9. Demarcation of [04], [05] and [06] marks in Q.2 & Q.3 is allowed with maintaining the
bloom’s level [U/A],[U/A] and [R/U/A] respectively [according to subject pattern if
required].
10. Do the proof reading properly.
11. Optimum utilization of the pages is expected from the paper setter to avoid
global warming! (i.e. If possible then you can set paper in half or one page.)
12. To maintain utmost confidentiality is the solemn responsibility of the paper setter.
13. After completion of entire exam session, within 3 days; each department has to
submit a soft copy (individual word file for each paper & consolidated dept. wise
sem. wise pdf file) of the manuscript to the exam dept. through the head.
