I. INTRODUCTION
Counting numbers is the first step in learning math. It helps our child understand
that numbers refer to quantity that makes number become meaningful. Counting
numbers are very important so that we can understand numbers have an order
and to count numbers easily.
In this lesson will learn how to count number one to five and tell numbers in a
given set by ones and fives.

II.LEARNING COMPETENCY
- Counts and tells the number of objects in a given set by ones and tens.

III.OBJECTIVES:

- Count numbers one-five
- Write numbers one-five

IV.DISCUSSION:
Kids do you know the nursery ryhme entitled “Once I
Caught the Fish Alive”? ‘
Today we are going to sing it first before we are going to our lesson, so are you
ready kids? Let’s sing
One, Two, Three, Four, Five
Once I caught the fish Alive
Six, seven, eight nine, ten
Then, I let it go again
Why did I let it go
Because it bit my finger so
Which finger did it bite
This Little finger on my right.
Today we are going to learn how to count number one to five. Are you ready kids?
Now, let us practice writing by tracing the words and numbers from 1 to
5 above.
