My group is comprise of 3 members lead by me. It is a formal group assign by teacher for

collaboration learning experience. This really work out we work with our expertise, knowledge

and skills. Our instructor help us a lot encourage us by reviewing our work and by assigning time

limit that help us a lot to accomplish our task effectively.

Leader is the individual who help motivate others, provide guidance, effectively communicates,

confident, take responsibility, build morale, improve the work environment to achieve common

task. My characteristics of being a leader will be explained by my group members.

I am elected by instructor so it’s my responsibility to be a good leader I try my best to work

effectively. The first step is to get my members together so they get to know each other better.

They can share their ideas with each other communicate with each other. So I created a group

comprise of my members where they can approach me any time and build communication

between them, secondly I can communicate with them easily. I clearly assign them work before

assigning them task I design the task in such a way that my member can complete the task. I

listen to them I try my best to help them with the resources in completion of tasks. We discuss

each task and I am very happy with my members who help each other and create a strong bond.

All work is done on time and in efficient and effective manner.

I manage my group by giving them time to be unplugged with the task by categorizing the work

in 3 ways, one can handle their personal life, work life and inflexible time limit. And the one

who can’t manage to do work on time due to some valid reason I give double work for the next

task to equal work burden and award equal work in all member this strategy result in no

conflicts. We form a team According to Linda hill and Kent Lineback “not every group is a

team” a group work together and bounded to achieve common goal.

My all comments on their work are taken positively and give an awesome response in return

with good work. Members listen well and actively participate in given assignments. I

acknowledge their work, try to understand their troubles and provide them with solutions and

options.

Moving ahead, let me specify their roles separately. At the time of project selection all member

actively participate by giving best project to work on. A fair selection of project is done by us.

All collect their own information by reaching their own resources to work. Zeenat interpret the

data very effectively and provide support. Nimra and Saman are task oriented as the work is

given all problems are discuss and solved and engage in their work. I came to know that Nimra

maintain good notes. Saman is the talkative person and unpredictable. Individually all have

different tasks .I am satisfied from my members all work really hard and help me in their own

way.

Thanks to my instructor who guide us in the best way and help us in managing time by giving us

deadlines and also for the best combination of my members and giving me the responsibility to

be a good leader.
