PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE

El Pasado Continuo, es un tiempo verbal que describe acciones que estaban siendo realizadas en un mom-
ento del pasado al que se hace referencia y que luego continuaron.
AFFIRMATIVE FORM

El pasado del verbo to Be: WAS trabajara con la primera y tercera persona ( I. HE. SHE. IT )

PAST PROGRESIVE - RULERS:

1: Los verbos terminados en consonante-vocal-consonante, duplicaran la ultima consonante:


- cut-cutting
- swim-swimming

2: los verbos terminados en Y no se sustituyen por ing:


- cry: crying 
- fly: flying

3: Los verbos terminados en E serán sustituidos por ing, excepto el verbo be (be-being): 
- love-loving
- hate-hating

4: Los verbos terminados en doble vocal solo se le agregara la terminación ing:


- see-seeing.

NEGATIVE FORM: Para poder construir la forma negativa del Pasado continuo debemos utilizar el verbo
en negación: WAS NOT – WERE NOT.

La forma negativa del PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE puede presentarse en dos formas, normal y
