THEORY:
Active filter: An active filter generally uses an operational amplifier (op-amp) within its
design and in the Operational Amplifier tutorial we saw that an Op-amp has a high input
impedance, a low output impedance and a voltage gain determined by the resistor network within
its feedback loop. its principle of operation and frequency response is exactly the same as those
for the previously seen passive filter, the only difference this time is that it uses an op-amp for
amplification and gain control.
CIRCUIT DIAGRAM:

Procedure:
1) Open MATLAB and type Simulink and another window will open.
2) After it, click on Blank Model and then select Library Browser.
3) In Library Browser ,click on Simscape
4) In simscape ,click on foundation library ,Electrical, Electrical elements and then take
components capacitor ,op-amp, electrical reference, resistance from it.
5) From electrical sensor we take voltage sensor. And from electrical source we take
Controlled voltage source.
6) Then go to analysis click on control design and select on frequency response estimation .
7) Then another window will open ,select input signal (sinestream having multiple
frequency ). Set frequency range from 0.1Hz to 100000Hz and space frequency of 30 Hz.
8) Click and drag the frequency to modify parameters values.
Set the amplitude 1, Number of period 4
Setting period 4 Ramp period 0.
And then click on estimate and then select on Biode graph. Right click on graph and
from properties select scale in absolute and frequency in kHz
