IV. Program Objectives: CMO 74s 2017(BEED) Revised Policies And Standards For Undergraduate Teacher
Education Curriculum)

Graduates of the BEED degree program have the ability to:


1. Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the diversity of learners in various learning areas
2. Manifest meaningful and comprehensive pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) of tge different subject
areas.
3. Utilize appropriate assessment and evaluation tools to measure learning outcomes
4. Manifest skills in communication, higher order thinking and use of tools and technology to accelerate
learning and teaching
5. Demonstrate positive attributes of a model teacher, both as an individual and as a professional
6. Manifest a desire to continuously purse personal and professional development

V. Course Description :
The course focuses on selected problems, issues and trends related to the field of education. This allows the student
to have a wider knowledge and perspective of the teaching profession through attendance and conduct of seminars on the
latest trend in education. It explores emerging concerns, new direction and reforms through examining the critical issues and
problems that brought about the different paradigm shifts and transformations currently found in the aims, processes and
delivery of education.
VI. Course Outcomes: At the end of the course, the students shall be able to:

2. Demonstrate competence in discussing identified problems and issues in education

Note: Class Standing includes any/all of the following:


Recitation, quizzes/test, homework, written output, collage, role playing, attendance, etc.

X. Classroom Management Rules


1. Submission of requirements will be on or before due dates.
2. Wear prescribed uniforms on scheduled days. On free day (Wednesday) wear appropriate dress code.
3. No cellphones and other gadgets should be used during class hours and examination.
4. Honesty should be practiced at all times.
5. Complete attendance is encouraged. In case of absences, notification as to the reason should be reported
before or upon return.
6. The number of absences should be based on what is allowable. (Refer to Students Manual)
7. Tardiness is discouraged. More than 15 minutes of being late would mean being absent.
8. Should students be absent during quizzes, graded recitation and other activities, provisions can be made
provided the reasons are valid
