Course Description : Theories, Styles and Structure of organization and management as applied in the
creation, division and merger of government institutions. It emphasizes on the functions, duties, responsibilities
,obligations, liabilities and accountabilities of employees and officers under the executive branch of
government.
Prerequisite: None
Course Objectives : At the end of the course, the students are expected to:
1. master the theories, styles and principles of management;
2. relate the theories and principles to the operations of the government institutions;
3. analyze the structure, powers and functions, duties and responsibilities, qualifications and disqualifications
of the employees and officers in said government institutions ; and
4. submit reflection papers , critique and research outputs with regard to the problems and issues in their
respective work places.

Course Policies 1. Students are required to attend the class sessions and to inform the professor in case of their absence.
2. Students are allowed only to a maximum of 20 percent of 54 hours in a three unit subject.
3. Students are required to deliver their reports and to submit their examinations.
4. Students must undergo major examinations and to pass the same.
