Name of the Interviewee: Justin Llona, BSBA Marketing Management II

ANSWERS:

Justin Llona once visited Singapore when he was in grade school and he didn’t
stayed for much longer, ‘hopefully he did’ he said. It was just half a month as what
he remembered. It was actually his parents’ planned vacation. And of course, for
family-bonding purposes and out of town trip together. According to him, It was really
hard for him to recall the place fully as of the moment but the time they went there,
the place and the standing of Singapore is farther up the ladder than Philippines. But
in terms of comparing the cost of living in Singapore and in the Philippines, prices
here are lower than in Singapore. That is actually based on his observations and
experiences as well. He also had a lot of unforgettable memories there. Firstly,
seeing the buildings that are more civilized than the buildings we could see here in
the Philippines. Secondly, they saw rare animals at the Singapore Zoo. And of
course, above all, the bonds and the memories they made with his loved ones. If
there’s a possibility and if he would be given again a chance to go there,’ why not?’
he said. He really admires Singapore because it’s really a nice country. There are so
many wonderful places and stuffs there that would be enjoying. He wants to go back
there in the future especially that he heard more interesting things currently
regarding the country which added up boosting his eagerness to go there again for
the second time.

There might be bear details and reasons beyond why the interviewee uttered
those answers regarding every question. We have witnessed his expression while
sharing those experiences he mentioned. Certainly, it’s very obvious that our chosen
sample for this conduct of interview began so happy about his past experience when
he went out of the country. It was fully based on his answers that made us conclude
that there might be something that gives that person an idea of admiration for that
particular country rather than admiring his own. That could be possible in one way or
another. Nevertheless, there is still something that drives him loves his own country.
On the other hand, there’s a sort of comparison regarding how civilized that specific
country from our own which I think is based on his own observations and evaluation
since he saw the actual scenario when he went there. The fact that we might
consider it as true. People would always have something to say negative about
Philippines but it’s also our job as Filipinos to set things straight and true.
