Step 4: Estimation of potential in each business

We have formulated a strategy that takes into consideration three vital fronts for gauging the
potential in each business

 We propose to segments city’s area into clusters and analyze the historical trends and
forecasts to gain deeper insights.

 In order to gauge the availability, we are planning to look at the property surveys
indicating the potential new properties that have come up in the area overlaying the data
with existing property conversion rates.

 We plan on dividing city’s area into 3 zones red, orange, and green and analyze the
consumer perceptions about the COVID impact and the pain-points and apprehensions
which they while renting out a space.

We will brainstorm with the OYO representatives at this stage to finalize the weightage
to be attached to these factors as well as incorporate their inputs on other factors that
need to be taken into consideration.

We plan to create a quantitative model for estimation of this potential. On the basis of
this quantitative output, BDMs can be assigned to each business. Further classification
can be done in terms of regions and segments.
