important industries of Pakistan as it
provides a lot of food for domestic
markets. .Employments will increase as
the demand will increase. Areas which
are waterlogged will benefit as it clears
waterlogged areas

Inland and fish farms

In 1997 both fish increased to 420000 to

62000 in 2002.There was a decline in
Marine but inland continued to increase

The Advantages are that employment

opportunities will increase and it can replace
meat as sometimes meat production faces
shortages. It is a renewable resource and also
exporting can increase

The disadvantages are that pollution levels

will increase. Not well skilled fishers meaning
no inherited skills. Over Fishing can cause
shortage problems

They can be improved through

training/teaching the fish farmers.
Equipment can be improved or
mechanized. There can be cold storage
of fish on boats. Staying at sea for days
examining.
