Galvamet America Corporation offers a complete line of insulated metal

panels for commercial, industrial and cold-storage applications and has
an estimated production capacity of 10 million square feet per year.
Galvamet is a true single source supplier of quality insulated wall and
roof panels.
Based in Shelbyville, Indiana, the Galvamet facility is equipped with a

state-of-the-art, fully automated, foamed-in-place technology. Galvamet
produces FM and UL approved panels that feature an isocyanurate rigid
foam core with galvanized steel face sheets. With a continuos production
line for panels and a line for slitting metals, Galvamet controls the entire
production process to ensure consistent quality, reliability and on-time
delivery.
GALVAMET PLANT
THIS 80,000 sq.ft. PANEL MANUFACTURING FACILITY IS LOCATED IN SHELBYVILLE, IN.
THE GALVAMET CAMPUS IS ON TWO ACRES OF LAND AND INCLUDES THE MANUFACTURING
PLANT, WAREHOUSE AND TRUCK LOADING AREA.
GALVAMET FEATURES
MATERIALS AND FINISHES

Galvamet panels are pre-painted ASTM A653 grade 37, G70 or G90
galvanized steel sheet, 26 gauge. Standard texture: wall panel exterior –
face embossed and roof panel exterior – smooth, liner embossed.
CORE INSULATION
Galvamet CFC free foam-in-place isocyanurate with a nominal density
of 2.4 lbs/cu ft is offered in different thickness with excellent insulation
values. CFC free foam has significantly reduced ozone depleting properties.
COATING AND SURFACING

To ensure the lasting quality of our panels, the exterior face sheet is
siliconized polyester or 70% Kynar 500 / Hylar5000, 0.8 mils film
thickness and 0.2 mils primer thickness. The interior is USDA compliant
imperial white siliconized polyester, 0.8mils film and 0.2mils primer.
USES AND APPLICATIONS

Galvamet insulated metal panels are designed for commercial, industrial
and cold-storage roof or wall applications and can be used in both new
and retro fit constructions. Galvamet panels may also be used for cold
storage buildings, food processing plants and other applications where
temperature control and insulation values are critical. Other applications
include: manufacturing facilities, distribution warehouses, aircraft
hangers, equipment maintenance buildings and schools.
OUR PRODUCTS
Hi Rib Panel
Hi Rib panel is a versatile panel that can be used as a wall or roof
panel. The ribs of the panel produce an extremely strong section
that can span long distances between wall girts and roof joists/purlins.
It is available up to 6” thick, making it ideal for applications needing
strong, well insulated metal walls and roofs. This system can be com-
pleted with the innovative GT-1 connection which mates the roof and
wall in a continuous curve eliminating eave trim and gutters.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Hi Rib panel is available in thicknesses up to 6”.
• The panel’s structural fasteners give it the strength to meet FM and UL

uplift requirements; batten caps are an available option.
• Hi Rib panel is also available in thickness as little as 1.5” making it a

rugged and economical insulated roof panel for industrial and warehous-
ing projects when the budget is critical.

GT-1 System
The GT-1 system is an innovative crimped profiled sheet that can
be used to join the Hi Rib roof and wall panels at the eave detail or
can be used as a separate architectural element.

• GT-1
is available in pre-painted finish.
• The net coverage is 39.37”. Lengths are cut to order. The minimum
internal radius is 20”.
• The profile is available in 22, 24 & 26 gauge.
• Profile depth:1-5/8”.
Galvatherm Mesa
The Galvatherm Mesa panel is ideal for exterior industrial or com-
mercial walls. The 42” wide panel installs quickly and economical-
ly. Fasteners are concealed within the panel side joint and the
attractive “Mesa” profile breaks up the flat expanse of metal on
large-scale projects such as automobile plants.

• The panel’s double tongue and groove joint is self aligning and weather
tight and allows for sealant application at either the interior or exterior
side of the panel joinery depending on the direction of vapor drive.
• The standard metal surface is 26 gauge galvanized steel with 20 year

warranted siliconized polyester or PVDF coatings.
• The panel arrives on site in one piece and requires a simple one step
installation helping to reduce construction time and costs.

Galvatherm Shadowline
Galvatherm Shadowline profile panel is ideal for interior partition
walls or exterior building walls and soffits where a light vertical
accent line is preferred. This panel is a mirror image with both the
interior and exterior sides of the panel profiled with the same verti-
cal shadowline.

• Foam insulation is applied to this panel as a self rising liquid thus creat-
ing a solid monolithic panel with no room for interstitial condensation.
• The composite engagement of the foam/metal bond generates an

extremely strong and well insulated panel that can meet long span
requirements as an exterior wall or as an interior partition.
• PVC coating (Plastisol) and 304 grade stainless steel in the liner is avail-
able for tough food processing wash down applications.

Galvatherm Micro Rib
Galvatherm Micro Rib profile panel provides a high tech commer-
cial look with the savings and performance of a foam core panel.
The light striations in this panel connect and blend continuously
across the surface of the panel creating a subtle and pleasing visu-
al effect. Micro Rib is best suited for exterior building walls where
an upscale refined look is desired.

Galvatherm Heavy Stucco Wall panel is an exterior wall panel with
a unique embossing pattern that simulates the look of concrete
masonry stucco. It is ideal for projects where the performance and

style stucco finishes are desired.
