RATIONALE:

1. To show the beauty of the Malacanang Palace through diorama.

2. To show that Malacanang Palace can be more beautiful using Unusual Materials
3. Make imaginative structure
4. Explore and Try new things with the help of different elements.

If the United States has a White House, the Philippines has Malacanang Palace. This
is called as the “ Powerful seat of the Philippine Presidency” and called as he apple of the eye of
every politicians. We chose this place to be the design of our diorama because we believe that
above all else it is the most important place that our country should treasure. We planned to
make Malacanang in our diorama because it is the house of every Filipino.

The art that were chosen is the Macanang Place because we were inspired by the
beauty and the history of the malacanang palace itself that’s why we wanted to choose this place
to be made in diorama. This place is also historical due to the fact that it was built long long time
ago when the Spanish colonized our country. Malacanang palace is the powerful place since it is
where the President of the Philippines lives. This is just like a castle where the King of the
country lives and where people could see him.

In making our diorama we choose Hybridity, Technology and Appropriateness as the

elements that we will be using in making our diorama. In our diorama hybridity is present
because in making the Malacanang Palace we will use unusual materials. We will also use the
element of Technology because we want to make our diorama bright and we will put some lights
around it. The last element that we chose is the element of Appropriateness because we want to
make a twist by adding something on the Malacanang Palace.
