I. Objectives

 Analyze the information contained in the material viewed.


 React and share ideas about the material viewed.
 Display appreciation of the story by accomplishing given task.

II. Discovery Task


Task 1 Find your Match

 Students match the given parts of the plot of the story to their corresponding
meanings.
 Ask the students to turn back each paper they have to form a particular image.
 Ask questions to the students based on the image formed.
1. Describe the given picture.
2. What are the uses of it?

Task 2 Watch and Learn

 Let the students watch a video clip about the story, “Sorry, Wrong Number”
Task 3 Share your Mind Movies

 Ask the students to share with the class their personal opinions about the video clip.
 Process their ideas by asking the following questions:
1. What makes the story suspenseful?
2. Why is Mrs. Stevenson not able to get help?
3. Mrs. Stevenson has already sensed that she is the woman to be murdered. What
would you do if you were in her place?
4. What you have learned about the story?
5. How could you be of help to people in danger like Mrs. Stevenson?

Task 4 Delving Deeper

 Divide the class into 4 groups.


 Give the students their corresponding task and finished it after 10 minutes.

Task 5 Group Differentiated Work


 Group 1 Hot Seat – Imagine that you are on a talk show and you are going to
interview Mr. Henry Stevenson, what questions do you want to address to him?

 Group 2 Puppet Show – Pick a scene in the story and re-enact it using puppet
show.

 Group 3 A scene After – As the story ends, George answers the phone, “Sorry,
Wrong Number”. Make a different ending script for this scene and act it out.
 Group 4 Song Mania – Choose a song that interprets the message of the story and
sing it.
