UNDERSTANDING
I. Objectives
Students match the given parts of the plot of the story to their corresponding
meanings.
Ask the students to turn back each paper they have to form a particular image.
Ask questions to the students based on the image formed.
1. Describe the given picture.
2. What are the uses of it?
Let the students watch a video clip about the story, “Sorry, Wrong Number”
Task 3 Share your Mind Movies
Ask the students to share with the class their personal opinions about the video clip.
Process their ideas by asking the following questions:
1. What makes the story suspenseful?
2. Why is Mrs. Stevenson not able to get help?
3. Mrs. Stevenson has already sensed that she is the woman to be murdered. What
would you do if you were in her place?
4. What you have learned about the story?
5. How could you be of help to people in danger like Mrs. Stevenson?
Group 2 Puppet Show – Pick a scene in the story and re-enact it using puppet
show.
Group 3 A scene After – As the story ends, George answers the phone, “Sorry,
Wrong Number”. Make a different ending script for this scene and act it out.
Group 4 Song Mania – Choose a song that interprets the message of the story and
sing it.
