Please underline one of the following:
AIM:
Individual work. Write a short (appr. 200 word) product presentation for a product of your
choice – the one that could be used in a sales letter. Include the elements of the four-
point plan introduced in Unit 8 (Sales communication – Sales letters). Use the template on
page 3.
INDIVIDUAL TASK
INSTRUCTIONS:
Study the four-point plan in Unit 8 to see elements of product description that are found
in texts such as sales letters.
You can consult some online sources for writing product descriptions.
To get an idea of a product description, also consider the description on page 20 of Unit 8.
Choose a product available online – ideally, it should be a product intended for a specific
target group of customers. Copy the URL.

You can also invent your own (original) product if you have an idea.
Please write your own description – do not simply copy it from the web. If it looks too
similar like the description of the product available on the web, your work will not be
accepted.
(150-200 words) + insert some other short information in the template on page 3.
It is not that important to write a long description, the primary goal is to try to cover all
the elements of the four-point plan.
4. Submit your description (in this document) to moodle using the link “Homework
submission Week 12” in moodle.
Submit the document in moodle in .pdf or .docx format. Name your document:
