STEP BY STEP PROCESS INVOLVED IN THE PH.D. SEMESTER

REGISTRATION

1. The Scholar has to Login the URL www.veltech.edu.in/sem-reg

using (username = VTD No. and password = Register Number.).
2. There is a menu option in the link to find out the FEES
STEP 1: STATUS.
SCHOLAR 3. If the Scholar has paid the fees, the status will be shown as
"CONTINUE TO REGISTER".
4. If the Scholar has not paid the fees, the status will be shown as
"PAY YOUR FEES AND CONTINUE".

1. The Supervisor has to login the URL

2. There is a menu option to view the Scholar details and his

progress report so as to enable the Supervisor to verify.
RESEARCH
3. After verification, the Supervisor has to give approval in case if
SUPERVISOR
he/she is satisfied with the progress report of the Scholar.
4. After approval by the Supervisor, the status will be shown as
"WAITING FOR HoD APPROVAL".

STEP 3:
2. There is a menu option to view the Scholar details and approval

3. After approval by the HoD, the status will be shown as
"WAITING FOR DEAN OF THE SCHOOL APPROVAL".

STEP 4: 2. There is a menu option to view the Scholar details and approval
DEANS OF of the HoD.
SCHOOLS 3. After approval by Dean of the School, it will be shown as
"WAITING FOR APPROVAL OF DEAN (RESEARCH
STUDIES)".

1. The Dean (Research Studies) has to login the URL

2. There is a menu option to view the Approval status of Dean of
the School.
STEP 5:
3. The Dean (Research Studies) has to give his approval finally.
DEAN
4. If approval is not granted, the Scholar has to redo the process
RESEARCH
from the beginning.
STUDIES
5. After completion of the entire process (Step 1 to Step 5), the
Scholar, Supervisor, HoD and the Dean of respective School can
have the access to view the FINAL STATUS of the Semester
Registration of the Scholar.
