　　兩千多年前，有一次孔老夫子曾問學生們的志向，子路講義氣，所以願意把最好的東西和朋友分享，
用壞了也不會生氣；顏子重視個人修養，因此他不誇耀自己優點，也不邀攬功勞；當學生問起了夫子志
向，夫子目光深遠，提出「老者安之，朋友信之，少者懷之」。相較學生著重在個人修養層次的小愛，聖
人的心是遼闊的大愛，關心的是社會每一個階層是否都能夠受到妥善的照顧？因此老安少懷是聖人的
理想，也是我們建設文慈育幼院與博仁敬老院的初衷。
　　禮運大同篇當中更曾經提及「大道之行，天下為公」，大同世界的到來將減少人心的分別、對待、不
平等，但是眼看社會現況不再是如此，尤其在今年當中，各地受到瘟疫、天災的影響，同時人心不古，道
德淪喪，此時更需要有志社會人士一同來挽化，以一股善心善愿共創祥和社會，造福世界。
　　儒家思想，是我們創院一路來的指南針，育幼院創辦的宗旨，希望能夠將五倫八德根植於下一代，雖
然孩子過去的生長環境與天賦性格各有不同，我們努力讓孩子秉著良善的本性，在育幼院環境成長；期待
這群孩子將來走入社會當中，能夠在各個角落奉獻自己的光和熱。
　　當社會人口結構改變，老年化人口增加，與此同時開辦博仁敬老院，也是眾志工同仁的理想與願景，
「老吾老以及人之老」是我們開辦的中心精神，不只愛自己家中的長者，我們也學著以侍奉自家長者的
心，和敬老院的長者相處；如何讓老年人能夠樂齡學習並重新找到人生的定位和價值？這是我們的目標。

感謝過去前榮譽院長老徐經理的帶領，育幼院已邁入了第十八個年頭，敬老院將於今年揭幕啟用；讓人
敬佩的是有一群默默付出的天使，他們身兼多職，像是老師，陪伴迷途孩子尋找人生方向；又像是父母，
無微不至的照顧與呵護；同時還有來自社會各界善心的付出，這種大愛的精神，讓本人也相當的敬佩與感
動。
希望李院長與全體同仁、志工在未來能夠同心同德，一同建構大同的理想，更期待未來有更多有志之士
一同加入，共築濟世救人的志業。祝福各位聖凡如意，心想愿成！
Two thousand years ago, Confucius asked students what their ambition were. Zilu, one of students answered his ambition was
righteousness, so he will share the best with friends and would not be angry even if they damaged it. Yanzi, another student, said his ambition
was self-cultivation, so he never praised his advantages or asked for reward. While students asked the same question to Confucius, he
answered with his profound eyesight, saying to ease the senior, to trust friends and to care for the young. Compared with students’ ambitions
which were to love themselves personally, the saint’s ambition was to love others, focusing whether everyone in different classes of the
society was well taken care of. Hence, caring for the senior and the young is not only the ambition of saints, but also our original intention to
establish the HOME FOR ANGELS CARE CENTRE (Children and Elderly).
The chapter of DaTung or Great oneness in neo-Confucian philosophy one of the most famous classics in Chinese literature, motions
that a public spirit will rule all under the heaven when the great way prevails. With the great oneness coming, the difference and inequality
among people will disappear gradually. However, things do not go this way in the mundane world. Particularly during this year, people are
suffering from plagues and scourges from all over the world. At the same time, people are not as candid and honest as they used while morality
is damaged. Those who of noble aspirations are needed to save people who are suffering and build up the peaceful world with kindness.
Confucianism is always the guiding ideology for HOME FOR ANGELS CARE CENTRE. I hope we nurture the thought to the
next generation with five cardinals and eight virtues, which is one of traditional Chinese social principals. Although different children have
different family background, I hope they will contribute their ability and wisdom when they come to the society in the future.

With the structural change of demography and aging population, we additionally operate HOME FOR THE ANGELS CARE
CENTRE (ELDERLY), which is also our dream and vision for our parishioners. For this Centre, we thought of expending the respect of the
elderly in one's family to other families. We encourage all of us not only love the senior in families but also learn how to get along with other
elderly people with the same respect and kindness as our own family members. We are thinking about how to let the senior learn so that they
coordinate themselves and find their value again in their lifetime.
Thanks for the leadership of Master Shu, HOME FOR ANGELS CARE CENTRE has been for 18th years. Also, HFTACC for the
elderly will be officially open this year. What I respect most is the staffs who contribute themselves silently. They are always on duty and
multi-tasking. As teachers, they help children to find the direction of life. As parents, they care for children meticulously with love. Also,
thanks for the contribution from the society, I truly admire and I am moved by this kind of great love.
Additionally, I hope Principal LEE, staffs and volunteers will operate the HOME together with the same ambition.
Also, I am looking forward to more ambitious people in joining us to save more needy people.

With the high sincerity, I hope everyone will have a better life and achieve what you wish.

武來岸風景秀麗，吸引不少國內外遊客前來觀光。自從推廣中華傳統文化與興辦教育的文慈育幼院立孫悟空山腳
下，更增添了濃厚的人文氣息。
“裏仁為美，擇不處仁，焉得知？”
至聖先師孔子說，居住在有仁德的地方是美好的事。我們選擇住處，不住有仁德的地方，怎能說是聰明智慧呢？
石哪督百年以來行善不遺余力，旨在利益村民與普羅大衆。目前毗鄰的文慈育幼院以利益弱勢兒童為宗旨，一舊
一新建築物，仿佛一老一少相伴，兩者互相映照，也更凝聚了社會中的善的力量于這片美麗的土地。
希望武來岸新村，在未來的日子裏，因為籠罩著樂于行善的氛圍而世世代代和樂平安，長長久久欣欣向榮。

Broga has beautiful scenery which attracts many domestic and foreign tourists to come for sightseeing. Since
HFTACC was built here, it promotes Chinese traditional culture and education, these has added a strong humanistic
atmosphere in Broga.

Confucius said, ‘It is virtuous manners which constitute the excellence of a neighborhood. If a man in selecting
a residence, do not choose on one where such prevail, how can he be wise?’

Sak Dato Temple has spared no effort in doing good deeds for 100 years, aiming to benefit the villagers and
the general public. At present, the neighboring HFTACC aims at benefiting the disadvantaged children. The old and
new buildings are as if the old and the young are accompanied. The two reflect each other, and it also condenses the
power of good in the society to this beautiful land.

I hope that Broga New Village will be prosperous and happy for generations to come, because it is shrouded
in an atmosphere of willingness to do good deeds.

行善為樂

世人一般追求的“快樂”，有千千萬萬種。有人追求財富地位，名成利就的快樂。有人享受天倫之樂、有

人享受美食、旅遊等等，通過體驗新鮮和特別的生活經驗而快樂。有人能睡上一覺、能出去散散步就感到快

樂。我個人認為，其中相對比較長久、比較經得起時間考驗的快樂是為善之樂，因為，其他的快樂，都沒辦

法陪伴我們經曆和面對人生的終點站。唯有善的喜樂能幫助我們提升自己，勇于面對死神恐嚇的關鍵時刻。

正值病毒肆虐期間，我們雖然倍感生命的脆弱，更要把握有限的生命機緣，守護善念，時時行善，也能

讓善的磁場守護我們。

祝願大家，真心淨心行善，修福修慧，平安吉祥。

Doing Good Deeds

There are thousands of "happiness" that the world generally pursues. Some people who seeks for wealth and will
be happy for fame and fortune. Some people enjoy the joy of family, others enjoy food, travel, and some are happy through
exploring different lifestyle. In my opinion, the happiness that can last forever is be kind to others and do charity work.

Only the joy of doing good deeds can accumulate merit and have no fear in facing death.

At the time of the virus raging, although we felt the fragility of life, we must grasp the opportunities to have good
thoughts, do good deed, and always maintain a positive energy with us.

Lastly wish everyone using our true and sincere heart to do good deed, hope both wisdom and merit grows.

大家好：
時間過得很快，育幼院已經進入18年了。感恩大家默默的付出及支持。

在2018年尾，一對夫妻捐獻了一間獨立式房子給本院作為敬老院。主要是幫助及照顧無依無靠的老菩
薩，度過他們的晚年。

在早期我本身就有意願要辦佛堂，育幼院，敬老院和孔子書院。上天慈悲都把這些理想慢慢實現在面

前。這一切都是上天的厚愛，前人輩的支持及善心人士的鼓勵才能夠走到今天。
誠如孔子所提倡的【老吾老，以及人之老；幼吾幼，以及人之幼】學習照顧老菩薩及愛護孩子是我們

的本分。雖然他們不是我們的父母也不是我們的孩子，但是有這份緣分給我學習照顧他們長大，找到人生方
向及陪伴他們到走完最後的人生，不恐懼地找到回天一條路，這都是我的福氣。
感恩一群無怨無悔付出的老師一起協助輔佐未來菩薩。他們因為有了您們的照顧才能日日健康成長，看到孩

子們的笑容，看到老菩薩找到人生第二個春天，內心替他們鼓舞，感恩老師們的辛苦。

在此也不忘記千千萬萬善心人士默默的支持及幫助，沒有您們育幼院就沒辦法維持，無限感恩。功德
無量。
希望育幼院能苟日新，日日新，又日新。大家加油！

Greetings to all,
Time past very fast, this year the home has already operated for 19 years, thank you all for your kind generosity to
help and your concern towards us. At the end of 2018, a couple donated a bungalow for us to set up an elderly home, the main
objective is to provide the elderly with a place to stay until old age.
At my early stage me intention is to build a temple, orphanage home, old folk home and Confucius school. Thank
you Heavenly Grace all these dreams seem to appear in front of my eyes. This is because the love from Heavenly Mother,
encouragement from our seniors and volunteers that support the home in order to sustain until now.
Confucius:“ Expend the respect of the aged in one’s family to that of other families; expend the love of the young ones
in one’s family to that of other families. If you did these above, you could rule the kingdom as if you were turning it in the palm.”
Although they are not my parents nor my children, yet I am learning and it became my obligation to take care of them. I am very
fortunate and have the privilege to guide the children into the correct path of life and accompany the elderly toward the end of
their live, find a way back to heaven, without worry. I am so glad to work with them.
Also, I would like to thank the good team of teachers that sacrificed themselves without complaints to guide and help
the future Buddhas. We can see the smiling face from the children and the elderly can find his purpose of life, for me I am very
happy for them. Thank you very much for everybody’s effort.
Not forgetting thousand or million of the wise people support us and help us.
Without all of you will won’t survive until now.
Thank you very much. Unlimited merit.
Hopefully Home For The Angels Care Centre will be continue to keep improving. Let’s all work hard together and help
those in need!

大家早上好。在這裏，我借此機會向大家表示感謝把這間大家庭打理得非常好。

因為有大家得關懷，這些孩子才能感受到一個家的溫暖。我希望大家在新的一年裏能

更加支持這群孩子，給予更多力所能及的幫助與關愛，希望孩子們可以快快樂樂地長

大。我相信只要大家心中有愛，一定會把大家庭越辦越好。正所謂“有錢出錢，有力出

力”。感謝大家的慷慨解囊。

宗旨：
本院收容孤兒或被遺棄的孩子， 讓他們有健全的成長與教育環境， 培養正確的思想觀念， 將來可以回饋國
家與社會。

收容對象： （12 歲以上）

孤兒
破碎家庭
遺棄孩子

教育方針：以孔子的四書五經為原則， 作為院童的生活信念與指引。

入院的手續：
面試
了解孩子的背景
全面身體檢查
三個月適應期
委員決策
若通過，孩子續住
簽合約到18歲
做宣誓
義務回饋服務一年
19 歲後可以選擇工作，深造或成為本院的師資員工。

妙君 & 妙然 Miao juen & Miao ran

大家好，我是妙君，今年十六歲。在育幼院這個大家庭裏，我感受到非常多
的關懷與溫暖。老師們都會循循善誘地教導和提醒我們的缺點，讓我們能夠進
步，成為有禮的人。“有禮走遍天下，無禮寸步難行。”在育幼院裏，我們學習的
是孔子推行的儒家思想與文化。把“禮”行出來，在這個社會就能立足，受人尊
敬。孩子們從小接受聖賢教育和經典教育能夠讓我們開啓智慧，對人生充滿希
望。我要感謝所有老師以及善心人士的眷顧與教誨，才能讓我健康快樂地成長。

Good day to everyone,

I am Miao Juen, I am 16 years old. In the home, I am able to feel the warmth
and concern from you all. Teachers will correct me my wrong doing in order to construct
me into a person with better personality. The sages said, “an empty sack cannot stand
upright”. At the home we are learning the culture and the teaching of Confucianism.
If I can implement the rite and etiquette in my daily life, I will be respected by others.
The children that receive the Confucius teaching since small will increase in our wisdom,
will be more confident in facing reality in the future. I want to thank all the teachers
and the voluntaries who give me guidance and concern in order for me to grow in a
healthy environment.

大家好，我是妙然，一個思想有點不成熟的孩子。至到我來了育幼院之後
才知道什麽是禮貌，什麽叫尊重。而且在很多孩子們一起生活的環境下，我學
到了人與人之間溝通的重要性。有老師們的栽培和鼓勵，我的生活變得多姿多
彩，如果沒有他們，不會有今天的我。
老師推行的聖賢教育，我覺得這教育可以拯救世界各國的每一個角落，光
是《論語》上的一兩章就已經說到了如何治理國家，可見聖賢教育是多麽的
好。老師曾經教過我一句話“任何事情或東西都不是理所當然的”，因為所有東
西都是成千上萬的人來成就的，讓我時時刻刻都用這句話來警惕著自己，以免
再犯下同樣的錯誤。

Hi everyone, I am Miao Ran. I normally do not have a positive mind before I came
to the home. The day when I step into the home, then only I realise what is propriety
and how to repect others. In such a big envoirment, I notice the important of interaction.
Teacher guide and encourage me, make my life change. I am very grateful to have them
around.
Teacher implement the Confucius teaching, I personally feel it will help to save the
nation and the world. I learn the Analect of Confucius, just a few pages of the content,
I know it will help to save the drowning world.

The Confucius education is great. There is one verse from the teacher that
I always keep in my mind, “nothing can achieve easily”, because the completion of the
things are the combination of thousand and millions of people. I always remember this
verse by hard and it will be my guidelines for myself so that I would not made the same
mistake again in the future.

1、認識自己、克制自己
自己就是最大的敵人，往往最難以克服，只要能認清自己，覺醒自己，就可豁然和喜悅。人生的秉
賦，本來每人就有明顯的不同，加上每人生活環境、背景、努力程度不同,在成就上當然就有差異。只要多了
解自身條件，不斷地學習，時時努力長進，將來也可以出人頭地。成功者，從克己而來。克己之道，求則可
得，但必須長年累月不斷地实践，不容稍有懈怠。
2、培養自己的責任
從人的降生開始，一直到呼出最後一口氣終止，經常環繞在人的周圍，使人生價值賴以實現的便是
責任。一個人無論對家庭、鄰里、國家、民族都有一種無可免除的責任，責任是實現至善生涯的要素，他帶
來圓滿、充實和光輝。人類生命延續的最大意義，也是存在於克盡人生職責之中。青少年應該有充實的責任
感，化沉迷為覺醒，化口號為行動，需要的是創意而不是追隨，是理智而不是懵懂。在觀念上確實做到自立
自強、自尊自信；在生活上確實做到艱苦奮發、節儉樸實；在知識上確實做到窮理致知、研究發展；在技能
上確實做到勞動創造、精益求精。果能如此，你就身歸有處，不會憂心與焦慮，在生命的歷程上必定是合理
而健康的。
3、把握時光莫蹉跎
青少年朋友們！「零碎的時間，足以成大事」，時光就是金錢。每年都有新的春天，每個春天都有美
麗的花朵綻放，聰明的你們，把過去生涯中種種的過失、罪惡、不幸和愚痴的行為，全部埋葬起來。從現在
開始，每一時刻，每一步伐都是新的起點，以時間做資本，抱著新鮮明快的理想，向前邁進，每一分秒的時
光，都必須好好把握，痛下決心，拿出全副精神努力去做，以免日後徒興「力不從心，時不予我」的感慨。
希望你們記得，時光不會倒流，一晃不知去向，切記及時珍惜。
4、珍惜擁有的幸福
青少年朋友們，你們覺得不快樂嗎？如果不覺得快樂，那麼請走一趟熙攘的街頭，車站裡有多少若有
所失的孩子們，他們是多麼徬徨無助啊！你更可以跑一回殘障院，有多少身體殘缺接受輔導的不幸少年，仍
堅強的受教，他們是那麼值得愛憐。你是否看看自己，仔細想過，你們擁有溫暖的家保護，享有父母师长慈
愛的照料，受到親友溫柔的關懷。如今，處處都有無限愛心与關懷，你們有什麼不滿足的呢？你們應該用心
去感激、用心去體貼、用心去珍惜擁有的幸福。懂得惜福的人，才能處處享福，處處有福。

1. Understand ourselves, control ourselves.

We are our greatest enemy; we could hardly control ourselves. If we are able to control ourselves and understand ourselves, we
can be happier than we are now. Everyone is different, we came from different backgrounds, cultural and our hard work will de-
termine our future. A successor starts from controlling themselves. The principle of controlling one’s desires should be practised
in our daily life.
2. Enhance one’s responsibilities
From the day we are born until our last breath, we need to confront a lot of responsibilities. We have the responsibility towards
our family, our neighbour, country and the people. The act of responsibility will lead you into perfection and enrich our life. The
most important step to have a valuable life is we cannot be irresponsible. Teenagers must build up their responsibilities. Identify
our responsibilities and put them into action. We need realisation and not blindly follow the trend of the society nowadays. We
need to be independent and be strong, confident and have faith in ourselves; work hard, be cautious and live simple life. Do not
be lack in ambition, we must be keen to learn and gain as much knowledge as possible. If we have these criteria, we would not
have to worry or be afraid, we will grow up in a healthy way.
3. Treasure the time
All fellow teenagers! If we can manage of time, we will achieve something great, time is golden. Every spring there are beautiful
flowers are blooming, whatever we have done wrong, create sin and foolish action we should turn into a new leaf, treasure each
and every second from the starting point. Do not regret in the future on our foolishness wasting lots of time. Please remember,
time will not turn back again so we need to treasure it.
4. Treasure what we have right now.
Do you feel happy? Please go to the street, bus station and park, there are so many children who are homeless! Go ahead to the
paralyse home, they are unable to stand on their own feet, need guardian all time. We really sympathize with them. Have we ever
thought our ourselves, having a comfortable house, parent to protect us, relatives and friends concern about us? Don’t you think
you are a lucky one? Should we use a gratitude attitude to cherish what we have, treasure what we have right now. A person who
are contented will always be the cheerful one.

親愛的孩子們：
在文慈這大家庭裏，每一個我們都是獨一無二而絕沒被嬌寵的“寶
貝”。我們都有自己大大小小的惡習，也有自己難得的優點。每一天的
生活中，我們雖然好像沒有什麽太大進步，和大家庭裏的兄弟姐妹們，
一起用餐、上學放學、吵吵嚷嚷、玩玩鬧鬧、做家務、一同學習，一同
叩頭祈禱；有時吵架翻臉，目中無人，作獅子吼，老是犯同樣的錯等等
等等。就是在這樣平凡不起眼的生活中，其中包涵著莫大的幸福。在文
慈，我們向聖人學習，有佛菩薩的引航，有院長、諸位長輩們、還有來
自國內外志工們的諄諄教導與陪伴。我們從中學習為衆生奉獻與付出，
學習放大生命的格局，這就是難能可貴的幸福。

但願在這裏生活與學習的我們，都用心學習至聖先師的仁義入世
情懷，將來長大後，無論自己在任何領域發展，都能己立立人，己達達
人，過著樸實、充實而又充滿善和喜樂的生活。好好愛自己，好好愛身
邊的每一個人。

In Home For The Angels Care Centre (HFTACC), each of us is a unique “child” who has never
been pampered. All of them have their our own bad habits, and also have their own specialities. Everyday,
although they don’t seem to have much improvement, they dine together with brothers and sisters in this
big family, they go to school, chat and play together, they do chores, study and pray together; sometimes
quarrel and act arrogantly and always same mistakes again and again. It seem an ordinary life, yet it
contains great happiness in it.

At HTAFCC, we learn from sages, guidance from Buddha and Bodhisattva, there are also teaching
and companionship from the principal, seniors and volunteers from local and abroad. From here we learn
to contribute and sharing to each other, which I think it is such a good value in life.

I hope that all of us will study the kindness and wisdom of the Confucius together.
When the children grow up in the future, they will be able to stand on their own feet. Lastly, I wish we
will have a fulfilling and joyful life. Love yourself, love everyone around you.

一趟上天安排的旅程
也許冥冥之中，上天早已有所安排。
2019年12月，我本來還在中國准備著參加馬來西亞養老院志願服務計劃。AIESEC組織告訴我由于項目臨時取消，
詢問我是否願意調為育幼院服務計劃。我想著既然簽證手續和機票都訂好了，那就接受吧！當然比起養老院項目，育幼院
確實不是我心目中最好的選項。畢竟，面對一群孩子比面對一群長者難多了。
當我來到文慈育幼院，我漸漸感到這一次陰差陽錯的旅程或許並不簡單。到了育幼院不久，中國疫情爆發，回程機
票一張張地被取消。原本計劃在文慈育幼院逗留6周，結果延長到9周。在這段日子裏，我和育幼院的孩子們一起生活，去
了解他們的故事和想法。我逐漸意識到，每一位來到這裏的孩子都有他們背後的故事。無論什麽原因，文慈育幼院接納了
他們，為他們提供一處庇護所，讓孩子們得到溫飽、保障受教育的權利。有時候我會在育幼院二樓的走廊思考，如果孩子
們沒有來到文慈育幼院，又會有什麽樣的遭遇呢？他們可能會繼續留在原來的家庭、或許會年紀輕輕去吉隆坡打工。那他
們會交到什麽樣的朋友？他們會不會看著繁華的KLCC餓肚子？當然這只是我個人無聊的猜測與想象。但讓人安心的是，孩
子們來到了文慈育幼院後，能夠遠離饑餓，靠近智慧。
無論放在中國或是馬來西亞，文慈育幼院都不是一般的育幼院。在文慈育幼院，孩子們都需要早晚參加拜孔禮、食
素、接受儒家思想。孩子們除了早上5點30分起床舉行拜孔禮、頌佛經，在周末需要抄寫經文、參加佛學課等。這種傳統
的儒家教育，即便在發源地的中國也早已少有蹤迹。作為中國人，來到文慈育幼院都深感驚歎。
最後，我要特別感謝為育幼院付出多年的李院長。李院長為育幼院付出了很大心血。李院長不僅管理日常育幼院的
事宜，還辦佛堂和講座，教化衆生向善。同時我還要感謝和我年紀相近的志願者一省，是他鼓勵我走進孩子的心裏，了解
孩子們的想法。我希望育幼院仝人多多聽取一省的建議。我相信一省作為過來人，會更懂得孩子們的想法。
在馬來西亞文慈育幼院的日子，是我人生中一次意義非凡的旅程。在我返回中國後，根據新聞報導，如果我遲一天
從馬來西亞返回中國，我就會和感染者乘坐同一航班。正如李院長說的，也許是上天為我撥轉厄運了。感恩上天，感恩在
馬來西亞這段日子裏遇到的所有人。

A Trip Arranged By Heaven

Perhaps in the midst of heaven, God has already arranged something for me.
In December 2019, when I was preparing to fly to Malaysian to participate in Nursing Home Volunteer Service, the AIESEC organization told me
that the Nursing Home was fully occupied, they offer another project for me which is doing volunteer Service at children’s home. Well, my visa
procedures and air tickets are ready, accept it. Of course, compared with nursing home projects, children’s home are indeed not my best option. After
all, it is much harder to collaborate with a group of children than a group of elderly.
But when I came to Home For The Angels Care Centre, I gradually felt that this time it might not be an easy task. The original plan was to stay in
Home For The Angels Care Centre for 6 weeks, but was extended to 9 weeks due to the lockdown of Covid-19. During these days, I lived with the
children and understand their background and ideas. I gradually realized that every child has a story behind them. But for whatever reason, Home
For The Angels Care Centre accepted them and provided them with a shelter to provide these children with food and clothing and guarantee their
right to education.
Sometimes I think for myself, if the children do not come to the Home For The Angels Care Centre, what will happen to them? They may continue
to stay in their original family, or they may go to Kuala Lumpur to work at a young age. What kind of friends will they mix with? Will they watch
the bustling KLCC in hunger? Of course, this was just my guessing and imagination. But what is reassuring is that after the children came to Home
For The Angels Care Centre, they were able to stay away from hunger and approach wisdom.
Whether in China or Malaysia, Home For The Angels Care Centre is not an ordinary home. At the Home, children need to participate in Confucius’s
teaching, practise vegetarian diet, and receive enlightenment to open their wisdom. They need to wake up at 5:30 in the morning for children to hold
Confucius ritual and chanting Buddhist scriptures, children need to write scriptures and attending dharma classes on weekends.
Confucian teaching haven’t been teaching in China for long time. As a Chinese, I was deeply amazed when I knew the Home is emphasize on
Confucian teaching.
Finally, I would like to thank Principal Lee who has worked for the home for many years. Principal Lee has put a lot of effort into the Home For The
Angels Care Centre. She is not only manages the day-to-day affairs, but also conduct talks in Confucius teaching to teach all of us to find the truth.
At the same time, I would also like to thank a volunteers Yi Xing who are close to my age. He encouraged me to walk into the hearts of the children
and understand their ideas. I hope the other staff can listen to the children’s voice too.
The days at HFTACC was an extraordinary journey in my life. After I returned to China, according to news, if I return to China one day later, I
will be at the same flight as the infected person. As the Principal Lee said, maybe it was God who arranged it for me. Thank you Heavenly God and
thank you everyone we met in Malaysia.

在過去七年當中，當瑞典寒風刺骨的時候，我都會去馬來西亞，文慈育幼院感受大馬的陽光
及孩子們燦爛的笑容。我看到了育幼院的成長，從小住家到如今有規模的三合院。這個新家可以容
納超過100位孩子。這個過程經曆了很多奇蹟，得到石哪督捐獻那麼寶貴的土地。加上每一磚，每
一瓦都是善心人士的血汗錢，一起祝福這間三合院可以幫助更多不幸的孩子。

孩子們能夠住在空間較大的文慈育幼院，真的為他們引以為榮。我在這美麗家園看到孩子們
的笑容及成長。他們在這裏都學習負起當哥哥及姐姐的責任。

40年當義工的經驗，我到過了很多間孤兒院，我可以看到文慈的孩子真的很開心及知足。我
深深感受到李院長對孩子的愛及總是想給孩子們最正確的教導。 她無怨無悔的付出，引領大家打造
一個樸實又充滿愛和關懷的大家庭。這將讓孩子們可以更成熟懂事，也更有責任感。希望以後回去
文慈可以看到美好的成果。

For the last seven years when the northern winds turn into blizzards here in Sweden, I returned down to Lee and
her children’s home to get sunshine, both from the sun but most of all from the children’s smiles and happiness. I
have seen the transformation from the small children’s home located in Lee’s own house into her dream coming true
in creating a home big enough to be able to house more than 100 children. This has been a journey full of miracles
- from the donation of land up in the beautiful hills of Broga, to each brick being a gift from generous people who
wanted to be a part of this blessing.

As the children got a place which they can proudly call home, spacious enough for them to fully grow and flourish
their smiles have grown and they have become more harmonic. They are taking on responsibilities in caring for each
other as brothers and sisters and of their beautiful home.

I have visited many children’s home around the world during my soon 40 year as a volunteer and I can honestly say
that this home is the place where I have seen the happiest and content children. I believe it is because the children
can feel that Lee truly loves them and wants the best for them. Her example in giving unselfishly and leading with a
sample rather than a sermon speaks to the children’s hearts and they feel loved and cared for. And by feeling cared
for they will be able to grow into mature, loving and responsible adults in the future. I’m looking forward to my
return to be able to see the fruits of her labour.

我們在世界各地旅遊了四個月之久，于2019年11月抵達陌生的文慈育幼院。至到今年3月，我們
已經入住育幼院兩次了。總的來說，李院長打理的育幼院是適合各年齡層“天使”居住的好地方。
我Alex，太太Gina和兒子Luka來自墨西哥，一家三口計劃環遊世界一年，目的是為了從旅途中
學習與認識不同的文化、從中訓練我們適應新環境的能力，當然，我們的旅遊，也少不了為了冒險和觀
光的目的。然而，對“佛”進一步的親密接觸，並不在我們的旅行規劃中。在幾個月的旅途中，我們經曆
了各種各樣的困境與挫折，遇見各式各樣的人、接觸過各種各樣的組織機構、各種的信仰。無論如何，
最後我們來到了文慈育幼院，我們也從中找到生命可遵循的道路。
當前的普世價值以個人主義為主。個人聚集財富，並以利己為目標的生活模式造成社會普遍上不
樂于分享的狀況。
在文慈育幼，我們除了學習華語，本地文化，我們也上李院長教導的課程。從中我們培養慈愛心，學習
時時關懷他人。在育幼院，每天的日常生活，都是實踐關愛他人的機緣。能和小朋友們一起在育幼院裏
生活是件美好的事。這裏的孩子們學習許多事物，過著健康的生活模式。我們每天叩頭祈禱、誦經、用
餐、打掃、學習等等，通過種種活動，培養覺照與慈愛的心。這樣的心性訓練，不論是否是新冠狀病毒
疫情期間，其實都一樣的重要。
我們這段期間，在文慈教導孩子們藝術課程，也制作短片，畫壁畫等等。院長是我們的導師。我
們目前已成為素食者，學習中華傳統文化與儒家道理，感覺生活中，一切都變得美好無比。

We arrived to Home for the Angels at middle November as volunteers without knowing what to expect after being 4 months
traveling outside. We have already stayed twice in the home, a truly place for angels of all ages ruled by Principal Lee. We’re
a small family, Gina, Alex and our child Luka. We decide to travel around the world for a year to learn about different cultures
and ways of life, also as a challenge to adapt our self to different circumstances and of course to have some adventure and know
beautiful places. What wasn’t in our plans was to have a close experience with God. During our travel we have experiment all
kind of obstacles, meet many kinds of people and their different ways of organization, believes and motivations to act on their
life. However when we arrive to Home for the Angels we found the answers able to conduct our path in life. Many contemporary
values prioritize massive production for individual consumption: accumulation without sharing, a concept of wealthiness based on
material possessions and so on.
This make social conciliation more and more difficult as the time goes by. Since the first moment we arrived we’ve been
intensely learning about Confucius teachings, about Tao and about how to cultivate our Buddha nature at the same time knowing a
little bit about Chinese and Malaysian cultures. After intensive Dharma lessons by Principal Lee we have the beautiful opportunity
to do our Enlightenment, and that way be a formal part of a community which practice cultivation in their daily lives.
The time with the angels in the home and surrounded by nature has been one of the most beautiful experience, the kids live
in a great atmosphere where everything they need to learn and have a proper life is provided. After 3 months guided by our
consciousness, we came back without realizing how things were about to change in the whole world because of COVID19. Was
the best decision, with the whole Home team and not only in virus time but every day, we practice ceremony, sutras reciting,
meals, cleaning, working all together with the same purpose: cultivation. Which is more important than ever.
First time in Home for the Angels, we offer plastic arts classes and a made a short-film, now we paint a mural while we
take dharma classes, following Principal Lee as great teacher and protector. Her labor is admirable, she is an exemplary master
that guides this huge and beautiful project and that really take care of many people. By her teachings, we changed our diet to
vegetarian, learned about the Truth, parents relationship, respect to authority, be more virtue than polite and so on, even our
mind and spiritual thinking and feeling has radically changed to a good and beauty pathway. Is hard to imagine how to be thankful
in reciprocity and to equilibrate what they give us, but to really apply and share what we received and learned, being congruent
and giving more love to everybody, guiding and helping our sisters-brothers wherever we go.

我喜歡和孩子們在一起，我也享受教學
過程給孩子們帶來的快樂和成就，所以我選擇
了教師這個職業。
2018年退休後，在一個機緣巧合下，聽到文慈育幼院
需 要 一 位科學老師來教導 幾 個 自 學 班 的 學 生 。 我 之 前 在 學 校 裏
都是以教科學為主，所以我欣然接受了這份工作。雖然每個星期
只來兩個小時，但是我享受和六個孩子們在一起的時光。我傳授他們
科學知識，有時也跟他們說說做人的道理，或是根據一些發生在周圍、
社會上的時事新聞交換意見。我們互相交流，互相學習，關系融洽。
妙然、妙持、一常、羿航、丹尼爾和展峰，謝謝你們，因為你們成就
了我所喜悅的工作。我也要感謝文慈育幼院為我提供了一個這麽美妙的平
台，讓我在退休後還可以繼續我喜歡的工作。
孩子們，相信你們自已，只要肯努力，遇到困難別退縮，你們一定會
看到成功的彩虹。孩子們，加油！

I like children, and I also enjoy the joy of teaching to children so that is why
I chose the profession of teacher.
After retiring in 2018, in a coincidence, I heard that HFTACC needed a
Science teacher. I used to teach science at school, so I am glad I can contribute for
the home. Although I teach two hours weekly, yet I enjoy the time with the Home
School children. I teach them the knowledge of science, sometimes I share with them
the truth of life, news of current affairs, we communicate and learn from each
other.
Miao Ran, Miao Chi, Yi Chang, Yi hang, Daniel and Yi Jing, thank you for
your participation. I also want to thank HFTACC for providing me such a
wonderful platform for me to share my knowledge after retirement.
Message to the children, you have to
believe in yourself, as long as you are willing to work hard and do
not give up when you encounter difficulties, you will definitely
succeed in the future. All the best to you all.

姚雅美老師

記得在2018年的9月，與幾位慈濟志工到文慈育幼院參訪，同時了解院方是否有須要慈濟基
金會在物資上的支援。談話中，李特馨院長透露，院方面對師資短缺難題，因為院裏有各年齡層的
孩子，須要的老師人數相應的要多一些。
自2010年卸下教職，已成為慈濟全職志工，如果要到育幼院當老師，可能性不高，但是當志
工老師，應該問題不大，有願就有力，只要有心，這決定絕對會得到認可的。同年的12月，與李院
長洽談，也得到院長的信任，讓我有機會在自學班，每周上課一天。
開始面對這五位少年，體會到為何中學老師在教學中，有時會抓狂。雖然區區幾名學生，習
氣可說是“ 百花齊放”。超過一半的學生懶散的學習態度，讓我的心涼了，可是心想：以34年教小
學生的教學經驗，雖然這幾名學生年紀較大，而且是來自不同家庭背景，但期望以認真、有毅力的
教學態度，再加上一顆誠懇的心，最後也許會感化他們。
“沒有教不好的學生，只是還未找到方法”的這句座右銘，烙印在腦子裏。與孩子們相處了一年
多，跌跌撞撞，見招拆招。當然也很幸運的，得到院長和老師們的從旁協助及配合，讓我在教學中
越來越順利，孩子的學習態度也有了改善，這是我深感欣慰的。
在去年年終假期前，孩子聽聞我必須在來年到慈濟國際學校付出，在教學的最後一天，有孩子用期
待的眼神望著我，問：“ 老師，你明年還會來教我們嗎？”聽了這句話，感動之情湧上心頭，想著：
同樣是陪伴孩子一起成長，我還是可以舍出一天給育幼院的孩子。
非常感恩慈濟國際學校行政處，也應允我的要求編排時間表，使我還有機會與育幼院的孩子
結善緣。

I still remember in September, 2019, I visited Home For The Angels with Tzu Chi members. Realise that
the home neeed voluntaries. Understand from Principal we need teacher at the home. The home children are from
different age range therefore we need more teachers to assist them.
Since I stop my teaching in 2010, I became one of the voluntaries in Tzu Chi foundation, I don’t think I am able to
be a teacher at the home but I can commit myself to be one of the voluntaries. I am sure if there is a will there is a
way. In December 2020, after the discussion with Principal Lee, I will volunteer myself once a week.
When I confront the children from home schooling, I realise how difficult to teach the student in secondary. Although
it was only a few of them, all of them have different temperament. Majority are very lazy, it make me lost my
motivation. But deep in my heart I say, I have been teaching for more than 34 years in primary school, now I confront
only a few of these secondary children, although they are older, came from different background, but I sincerely hope
one day with my genuine heart and endurance will change them.
“All these children can be educated, is the matter of which way should we use.” This verse is always in my mind.
I am with the children for almost a year now, I have to face different difficulties, but I am please to have the advise
from the Principal and the teachers around who give me support. Now I can manage to collaborate with the children
well, their attitude changes, I am so please to see their changes.
At the end of last year, when the children knew I will be the last day working at the home, some of the children
starring at me and plead me, “ are you coming again next year?” These words touches me and I decided to come back
again to accompany them for studies.
Also I would like to thank Tzu Chi international school for given me the permission to continue my teaching at the
HFTACC.

Dr. Wu’s message

我常常思考，人到底是為了什麽而活呢？而我們的人生意義又是什麼呢？

從去年十二月在中國武漢出現病例到如今疫情蔓延至全球的短短幾個月，人類面臨著前所未有的挑戰與考驗。多
少人因為這場疫情失去親人朋友，多少人在這來勢洶洶的大流行病中失去收入來源，多少人因為對未來的不確定而感到
恐懼。。。這一切都讓我再一次深深地思考，人生很脆弱也很無常？除了為自己，還有什麽更值得我們去努力的？我們
是否可為自己的人生尋找一些更加廣闊和更具美德的生存意義呢？我們又如何為貧弱人群出一份力？而慈善，富貴貧賤
都可以出一份綿薄之力。

我們既不是財富的支配者，更不是能呼風喚雨的政治家。而我們能做的是從我們內心去為社會盡綿力。我們從事
養生之道的工作。我自小因父親得病而開始領悟健康的重要性。出社會工作，業余時間到處推廣吃素的好處，也鼓勵大
眾多喝水。我發現道大多數家長都普遍嚴重缺乏正確的飲食觀念。這是因為忙碌壓迫的生活讓人喘不過氣來，根本沒有
多余的心力和時間去好好探討與研究？再加上學校教育制度的壓力，造成很多孩子提早“成熟”。。。越來越多的疾病，
例如：高血壓、糖尿病、婦科疾病、心髒病已經開始年輕化。這並不是一個我們可以用任何藉口去忽視地現象。

一棵小樹苗不止需要土壤，陽光、空氣等才能茁壯成長。孩子也一樣，除了健康均衡的飲食，心靈上的營養也不
容忽視。自小是否有正確的道德觀念培養，對孩子對社會對國家有著深遠的影響。像這次的疫情，除了電視和綱絡上循
環播放的悲慘新聞，我們也看到了很多很感人的事跡。有多少人放下自己的私心出錢出力來康盛這次的疫情，讓我們在
這慘淡的日子裡感受到人間有情。這是良心及德行的流露！

孩子，是未來國家棟梁。這一班天真可愛的未來國家棟梁值得我們多方面的支持與關注。讓我們一同盡心盡力幫
助這些孩子。祝願大家平安喜樂。

I always think, what is the purpose coming to this world, why are we here? What is the true meaning of life?

Since December 2019, the outbreak of Covid-19 started from Wuhan till now already spread to all over the world. Every sentient being are
facing the challenge now. Many lost their love ones, lots of them are jobless, some of them are worry about their future. We need to consider
and think thoroughly. Life is impermenant and very fragile. Beside thinking for ourselves, what are the things that we can contribute to the
society? Don’t we think we should find a way to make our life more valuable? Should we help the disable and those unfortunate? Charity
can be done regardless we are rich or poor. A small token of contribution make a great life for the others.

Me and my wife are just a commoner. We use our sincere heart to contribute a little to the society. We are nutritionist. When I am small,
my father was very sick therefore I notice good health is very important in our life. Beside my work, I will encourage public to be vegetarian,
telling them the benefit of becoming vegetarian and drink more water.

I realise lots of them do not have knowledge toward daily nutrition, this is because everyone too busy working for a living. Moreover, pressure
from the school nowadays that cause children early maturity. More and more sickness at their early age, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart
disease and etc. This is a serious problem we should consider.

A young sprout need soil, sunlight, O2 etc to grow. It is the same for a child development, besides nutritious, they need lots of spiritual
guidiance too. Moral teaching is very important in order to develop a good man in the future.

For example, in this pandemic period, we view from media lots of cases where children out there really needs help. Lot of the generous
people help to donate money and contribution to the people in need. It was so touching. We are living in one world one nation, we are here to
help everyone.

Children are the pillar for the future. Hope we can contribute within our capability for these children.
May God bless everyone peace and harmony.

-單身，無依無靠 and care for other’s children as one’s own.

*吃全素 -Good behaviors are highly required i.e. no smoking, no

大道之行也，天下為公，選賢與能，講信修睦，故人不獨
親其親，不獨子其子，使老有所終，壯有所用，幼有所長，鰥寡
孤獨廢疾者皆有所養；男有分，女有歸，貨 惡其棄於地也不必藏於
己，力惡其不出於身也不必為己，是故謀閉而不興，盜竊亂賊而不作，
故外戶而不閉，是謂大同。

THE CHAPTER OF GREAT HARMONY (DA TUNG )

"When the Great Principle prevails, the world is a Commonwealth in which rulers are
selected according to their wisdom and ability. Mutual confidence is promoted and good
neighbourliness cultivated. Hence, men do not regard as parents only their own parents,
nor do they treat as children only their own children. Provision is secured for the aged
till death, employment for the able-bodied, and the mean of growing up for the young.
Helpless widows and widowers, orphans and the lonely, as well as the sick and the
disable, are well cared for. Men have their respective occupations and women their
homes. They do not like to see wealth lying idle, yet they do not keep it for their
own gratification. They despise indolence, yet they do not use their energies for
energies for their own benefit. In this way, selfish scheming is repressed, and
robbers, thieves and other lawless men no longer exist, and there is no
need for people to shut their outers.
This is called the Great Harmony.
