IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS

AY 2020-2021-1S

SECTION 1. Title. — These Rules shall be referred to as the "Rules to Implement the
Asynchronous Method of Learning in Labor Law Review."

SECTION 2. Meaning of Terms. — Whenever used herein, the word "Professor" shall mean
Attorney Rojane Peruel. The word “Q&A” shall mean the questions and answers derived from
Chan’s Labor Law Reviewer, Questions and Answers. The term “assessment” shall be
synonymous to quizzes.

SECTION 3. Construction. — All doubts in the interpretation and implementation of these rules
shall be resolved in favor of the reviewers’ success in Labor Law’s Bar Examination.

SECTION 4. Chan’s Labor Law Questions and Answers. The book of Chan on Labor Law
Questions and Answers shall be utilized as part of the asynchronous learning for the whole
semester. The reviewers shall be required to write fifty (50) Q&As assigned to them every two
(2) weeks and shall be due on the same day the assessment for such Q&A is scheduled.

SECTION 5. Responsive Answers. The reviewers shall copy only the pertinent and the most
responsive answers to the questions in their record books. This shall not in any way mean that
the reviewers deliberately omit lengthy doctrines in cases decided by the Supreme Court. It is
highly encouraged that the reviewers copy and write those that build the strongest foundations
of the answers.

SECTION 6. Doubts on the part of the Reviewers. In case of doubt whether a part of the answer
should be or should not be copied and written, it shall be resolved in favor of an in-depth and
extensive understanding of the principle embodied in the question.

SECTION 7. Presumption of Mastery. It shall be presumed, notwithstanding the privilege to copy

only the answers that are most responsive to the question, that the reviewers have read and
understood the complete answer as provided in the Q&A such that there can be a reasonable
expectation of mastery of the principles while being supplemented by other readings and
lectures by the professor.

SECTION 8. Quizzes; Moderate Difficulty. The assessment for this assignment shall be in a form
of a quiz which shall be scheduled with prior notice or which shall be done once on a Friday in a
2-week period. The assessment’s level of difficulty shall be moderate so that the key answers
are not verbatim or copied word for word from the Q&A.
SECTION 9. Annual Bar Questions and Answers. The reviewers shall be solely responsible for
their own extensive learning and other strategies in preparation for the Bar Examinations. The
Annual Bar Questions and Answers may, at the option of the reviewers, be read to supplement
their understanding of the Labor Law Review course or may be read and answered on their own
during their pre-bar review.

SECTION 10. Pacing of Reading Tasks. The reviewers shall commit to read all the discussions in
the book of Chan and to schedule on their own, regular time and days solely allotted for
reading tasks every week. The same mastery as provided in Section 7 herein shall be expected
of the reviewers.

SECTION 9. Rules Subject to Revisions. For reasons of urgency, ineffectivity, or non-compliance

of the rules by the professor or reviewers, these rules are subject to amendment, whether full
or partial. The polls, results of the assessments, and feedback by the professor shall determine
the effectivity of the adopted method of asynchronous learning.

SECTION 10. Effectivity. These rules shall be effective immediately upon approval by the
professor and it’s subsequent posting in the messenger group chat of Labor Law Reviewers.
