P15.2.

6 The UGW shall also comply with the particular requirements of the various
utility authorities. There shall be no interruption of services arising from the
diversion works throughout the duration of the Contract.

P15.2.7 At cut and cover areas where the UGW is required to reinstate the utilities, he
shall coordinate with the utility authorities for the location and number of the
conduit /service ducts to be reinstated. The UGW shall supply and lay the
conduit/service ducts and seek clearance from the respective utility
authorities prior to backfilling over those reinstated conduit/service ducts.
After backfilling, if instructed by the authorities, the UGW shall conduct a pull

utility authorities.

P15.2.8 The UGW shall notify and seek the approval from Jabatan Bomba dan
Penyelamat Malaysia and all other relevant authorities for any relocation of
fire hydrants and dry risers. The UGW shall be responsible for ensuring that
such relocations do not affect the provision and operation of fire hydrants
and dry risers. The fire hydrants and dry risers shall also not be affected by
the UGW’s works.

P15.2.9 The UGW shall cooperate fully and render any assistance to the appropriate
authority and the utilities authorities carrying out the aforesaid works.

P15.2.10 All works on services shall comply with the requirements in the
corresponding specifications and as specified by the relevant utility
authorities.

P15.3 Utility Diversion and Schedule

P15.3.1 There may be some utilities which are not identified that may require to be
locally diverted and/or supported and adequately protected over the Works
area. The UGW shall liaise with the respective utility authorities for the
diversion and/or support of these utilities during the course of the Works to
the acceptance of the Council and utility authorities. The UGW shall provide
the supported utilities a safe access with platform for regular maintenance by
the utility authorities. All costs for the utilities diversion, support, provision of
access, reinstatement, removal of abandoned utilities and coordination shall
be borne by the UGW and the shall be deemed to be included in the Contract
Price.
