degradation of nature, but even more distressing to know that we are human
beings that cause irreversible deterioration in the resources we have and that

I am writing to you in order to express my disagreement with the exploitation of the Santurbán
paramo, since the social problem that it will present in the population once work begins in this
area will be devastating and disastrous.
It is of great concern to know that this area is home to hundreds of special, and this moorland
stands out for the diversity of its fauna, as well as for its ecological importance, in which
several water sources are born that supply water to towns and cities of the region, if the moors
in Colombia are protected by article 9, 79, 80 and numeral 8 of article 95 of the 1991
constitution and other articles of the national code of natural resources, renewable and
environmental protection.
Having said the above and that these resources, species, fauna and flora, are not of your
ignorance, I request that the decision of exploitation of said paramo be revoked.
For your attention and analysis of this request I am highly grateful.

Decidí escribir la carta al Ministerio de medio ambiente, Ya que tristemente se presentan

inconvenientes en este país, en especial con el Páramo de Santurbán, el cual desean explotar
siendo una riqueza natural e hídrica para su alrededores y para el país, la solución no es explotarlo,
las solución es cuidarlo, cuidar los recursos hídricos que poseemos en este Páramo, cuidar los
animales que allí viven, cuidar la naturaleza, la solución está en promover que se sigan cultivando
hábitos de un buen ambiente y libre desarrollo natural.

Si permitimos que este Páramo se ha explotado, perderemos una de las grandes riquezas, y los
efectos negativos serán incalculables, ya que este depende de muchas personas, y muchas
especies.

La denuncia que se hizo, habla de la revocación sobre la decisión, para que no se explote este
Páramo, teniendo en cuenta los artículos que protegen el medio ambiente, y el Ministerio de
medio ambiente como encargado de cuidar los recursos, sea quien tome las riendas en el asunto,
y frene el proyecto que desean desarrollar en este lugar
