Notes on Storyboard #1 (20th December 2010)

You should keep the main character out of shot a lot more.

The man in the chair should spend significantly less time on screen than the protagonist’s body.

At most, show the bottom half of the protagonist’s face.

The form of the photographs should resemble a smiling face – the shades used in the photographs
should coincide with this graph:

Credits should be overlaid the video, possibly in the background in the multiple shots of the
protagonist walking over and back from the man in the chair.

Notes on Storyboard #2 (20th December 2010)

Being just under a minute long, we should definitely consider making another scene to go along with
it, potentially the lead up to the victim getting to that room – so the protagonist’s capture of him.

The credits could be incorporated into the props somehow, such as a post-it note or streaks of
blood, or even scratches in the props.

The smiling face should be made from the photos on the wall.

The walls should be covered with plastic, as well as the victim being wrapped in it.

The whole scene should contrast the fright of the victim and the calmness of the killer. This could
possibly be seen in the costumes of the characters as well – the grey colours of the protagonist’s suit
accompanied by various light colours in the victim’s clothing (but with some similarities, such as have
red in both of their designs, to suggest a similar nature in the victim, as thought by the killer).

he steps on camera, pistol whipping the man, and then shooting the girl.

02 Type of Shot:
