2.1 Connection check procedure to integrated weld control

when power on

Connection is made to the integrated weld control by the following procedures when power is
turned on.

Power on Communication with the welder starts in case of integrated weld

control I/F spec.

Connection check Check if there exists 643 integrated weld control board.
If not, [E0762 Welder board not installed.] is displayed. Install the
board and turn power on again.

Version check Check the welder version received from the welder in the above
connection check and the version recorded in the spot welding file
(ROBOT-AW.SWD). If not the same, there is a possibility that weld
condition differs from data of linear auto stepper and welder
parameter.
Thus [W1141 Welder version is unmatched.] is displayed. Make
operation described in [Chapter 3, 3.12 Parameter/ Sequence
initialize] or [Chapter 3, 3.13 Parameter/ Sequence upload].

Starting of I/O routine Routine I/O communication with 643 integrated weld control
communication board starts. This status is ready to execute spot welding.

Display the welder communication monitor to check if normal communication with the welder is going on. Please
refer to [Chapter 6, 6.1 Spot welding monitor] for detail.
