2020 PEAC INSET webinar with the theme, “Ensuring Enduring Student Learning Outcomes with Online
Distance Learning and Teaching of K-to 12 Standards in the time of COVID-19”

I was thankful to Miss Florence for registering my name on this PEACC 2020 INSET. It was a great
privilege for me to be part of this kind of INSET. It helps me a lot in this time of pandemic. All the
speakers were good and really discussed well the said topic. PEAC INSET via ZOOM app made me
realized that face to face learning is still the best way for the learners to learn well. Online distant
learning is not easy especially when you have a poor connection you cannot easily impart your lesson to
your learners.

In five days seminar though my connection wasn’t good and consistent still I was able to make an
output. I wasn’t continue my attendance in the 4 th and 5th day of a seminar due to my lost of connection.

The PEACT 2020 INSET talks about online distant learning and designing of Curriculum Map base on the
new competencies the MELCs.

They discussed the techniques on to unpack the standards and competencies in a curriculum map. They
also discussed on how to make transfer goals and performance task using GRASP. They also give us
some online applications that can be use in online distant learning like INSHOT in editing.

Above all, 2020 PEAC INSET was an eye opener in designing school curriculum map..
