Welcome!
Thanks for supporting our village festival.
2019 is a special year for us, because it’s our fortieth
anniversary!
Mrs Joyce Barber founded the Daffodil Festival in 1979.
Here she is with Daffodil Queen hopefuls. It’s the highlight of our year, and supports all kinds of
activities in our community. Last year these included:
St Andrew’s Church, Mells Playground Committee, Natterjacks
Club, Mells Sport and Recreation Ground, Mells Cricket Club,
Mells Football Club, Mells School PFA, Mells Toddlers, Mells
Nursery, Mells Scout Group, Mells Community Choir.
We hope you have a great time. Enjoy the music, the events
and the food in the field, and please support the wonderful
traders in the street who come back year after year,
rain or shine.
