TERMS & CONDITIONS – Category Spend Campaign with Citi credit cards

CAMPAIGN PERIOD
The “Category Spend Campaign” (“Campaign”) organized by Citibank Berhad (Co. No. 297089-M) (“Citibank”) will run
from 20 December 2019 till 15 February 2020, both dates inclusive (“Campaign Period”)

ELIGIBILITY
1. Participation in this Campaign is strictly by invitation only to selected Citi credit cardmembers (“Eligible Persons”,
and each, an “Eligible Person”) holding a valid, eligible Citi Credit Card(s) issued in Malaysia (hereafter collectively
referred to as “Cards” or each a “Card”) received via an invitation short message service (“Invitation SMS”) directly
from Citibank.

2. The following persons are NOT eligible to participate in the Campaign:


2.1 any person who is in default of any facilities granted by Citibank at any time during the Campaign Period, subject
to Citibank’s discretion; and/or
2.2 any Citibank customer or person who has committed or suspected to have committed any fraudulent or wrongful
acts in relation to his/her Citibank Card or banking account or any facility or service granted by Citibank, including
Citibank Online, accessible via www.citibank.com.my
2.3 Cardmembers who did not receive an Invitation SMS directly from Citibank.

MECHANIC
1. To participate in the Campaign (as a “Eligible Person”), an Eligible Persons who is in receipt of an Invitation SMS
(short-message service message) will get a chance to receive a 2X RM100 Lazada eVoucher (“Gift”) if they meet a
minimum accumulated spend of RM3,500 and above across three (3) categories; Groceries, Dining, Departmental
Store during the Campaign Period, based on the following prescribed Merchant Category Codes (MCC) captured on
Citibank system, set out in table below using any of his/her Citi Card(s) within Campaign Period (“Qualifying Spend”).

2. Subject to the Qualifying Spend and the Qualifying Transaction, each Eligible Person will get a chance to receive a
Gift provided that the Eligible Person fulfils the following criteria:-
2.1 The Qualifying Spend is accumulated on Citi credit card during the Campaign Period;

2.2 There is no reversal of purchases accumulated under the Qualifying Transactions made during the Campaign
Period, which may result in the Qualifying Spend not being met,

Citibank reserves the right to disqualify the Eligible Person from receiving any Gift.

The following shall NOT be included as Qualifying Spend for the purposes of this Campaign:
a. Qualifying Spend which are subsequently cancelled or refunded; and
b. Disputed, unauthorized or fraudulent credit card transactions.

3. For the avoidance of doubt, all related Cards of a Eligible Person Eligible Person including his/her Citi credit
supplementary Card(s) shall be automatically tracked for purposes of tabulation of the Qualifying Transactions based
on transaction dates and/or time (Malaysia Date and/or Time) captured in Citibank’s records only during the
Campaign Period and posted not later than 20 February 2020.

4. As such, Eligible Persons making certain transactions with a merchant hold should be aware that there may be a delay
in the posting if Qualified Transaction, depending on the processing by the relevant merchant(s), payment networks
and/or the acquiring bank.

CAMPAIGN FULFILMENT
1. Subject to Citibank’s discretion, tabulation of each Eligible Person’s Qualifying Spend shall be based on transaction
dates and/or time (Malaysia Date and/or Time) stated in his or her Invitation SMS.

2. The total aggregate value of the Gifts given out under this Campaign is capped at RM301,600 throughout the
Campaign Period and there will be a weekly capping as per table below. Hence, the eligible Participant will be
awarded on a “first-come-first-served” basis. For the avoidance of doubt, even if a Eligible Person / Eligible Person
fulfills the Qualifying Spend during the Campaign Period but after the Gift value pool cap has been reached, the
Eligible Cardmember will not be entitled to any Gift. As an illustration, if A fulfills the Qualifying Spend on 23
December 2019 but the Weekly Gift Value Pool has been fully utilized, A will not be able to earn the Gift unless A
subsequent spending (during the Campaign Period) reaches the Qualifying Spend again provided that relevant week
Weekly Gift Value Pool has yet to be fully utilized.

*For the avoidance of doubt, any excess balance Weekly Gift Voucher Value during any Campaign Week will be carried forward to the next
Campaign Week, and so forth, until the final Campaign Week.

3. Subject to the aforesaid Gift value pool cap, Each Eligible Cardmember is only entitled to one (1) Gift, regardless
how many Cards meet Qualifying Spend. Supplementary cardmembers are not entitled to receive any Gift. Any Gift
earned will be given to the principal cardmember.

4. Additional terms and conditions in respect of the Gift.


4.1 To redeem the Gift, an Eligible Person need to have an account with Lazada Malaysia which can be created via
https://www.lazada.com.my.
4.2 The Gift is non-transferable, non-refundable or non-exchangeable for cash or credit of any kind (in whole or in
part).
4.3 Any additional costs, charges or taxes incurred by Eligible Persons when redeeming the Gift shall be the sole
responsibility of Eligible Persons.
4.4 Citibank reserves the right to replace the Gift with another voucher or other gift of equivalent value at Citibank’s
reasonable discretion.
4.5 Where the gift under this Campaign are in the form of certificates/vouchers issued by participating merchants
or suppliers, the gift are valid for use until the date specified on the certificates/vouchers and are subject to the
relevant terms and conditions applicable to using them. If they remain unused or unredeemed after any
specified date, these certificates/vouchers will lapse and will not be replaced.
4.6 To avoid any doubt, if the gift (where the gifts are in the form of certificates/vouchers) are used for a value less
than the amount stated on them, the difference will not be refunded to the Eligible Person. If the value of the
gift is less than the value of the item(s) purchased, the Eligible Person must pay the difference.
4.7 To avoid further doubt, where gift are in the form of certificates/vouchers for dining, travel, entertainment
and/or hotel accommodation purposes issued, such gift do not constitute a reservation or booking. Eligible
Persons will have to make their own reservations based on the terms and conditions applicable to using them.
4.8 In that respect, each and every Eligible Person understands that the terms and conditions specified in the gift,
where applicable, are beyond Citibank’s control and are determined by the supplier. Any disputes(s) arising out
of the terms and conditions applicable to such gift(s). Citibank is not responsible for investigating or resolving
any disputes between any Eligible Person and the supplier and is not responsible for replacing or cancelling any
redemption as a result of such dispute(s).

4.9 In the event of a conflict or inconsistency between these terms and conditions and terms and conditions
stipulated on or in respect of the use or redemption of the Gift, such inconsistency will be resolved by giving
precedence to the latter.

5. Eligible Persons who are entitled to a Gift will be notified by Citibank via SMS to his or her mobile number registered
with Citibank within twelve (12) weeks from the end of Campaign Period.

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Citibank reserves the right to disqualify anymore from participating in this Campaign and/or receiving the offer.
2. Citibank shall not be liable for any delays on posting of transaction dates made by any merchants. Citibank shall not
be responsible for any failures or delays in the transmission of evidence of sales transaction by any merchant(s) or
any other party.
3. Citibank does not give any warranty of fitness of any purpose of any goods or services made available by any
merchant establishments or any other party. By participating in this Campaign, Eligible Persons agree that Citibank
shall not be responsible for any bodily harm (including death), loss or damage occasioned by any purchase, use or
consumption of any product or services made available by any merchant establishments or any other party.
4. Citibank’s decision on all matters relating to the Campaign will be final and binding.
5. All transactions as recorded by Citibank will be final and conclusive and binding upon the Eligible Persons.
6. To the fullest extent permitted by law, by participating in this Campaign, each and every Eligible Person is agreeing
that he/she will not hold Citibank and its officers, servants, employees, representatives and/or agents, liable for any
loss or damages that he/she may incur, in connection with the Campaign.
7. Citibank will not be liable for any default due to any act of God, war, riot, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood,
drought, storm, epidemic, pandemic, technical or system failure or any event beyond Citibank’s reasonable control.
8. Citibank reserves the right as it deems fit to vary or change any of these terms and conditions from time to time or
cancel, terminate, withdraw, or suspend this Campaign and/or replace this Campaign with another similar promotion,
campaign or program with prior notice. Such variation, changes, cancellation, termination, withdrawal or suspension
will be notified by posting on Citibank’s website at www.citibank.com.my or in any other manner as Citibank deems
fit. In this respect, the Eligible Person’s participation in this Campaign also signifies his/her agreement to access the
Website at www.citibank.com.my or in any other manner as Citibank deems fit. In this respect, the Eligible Person’s
participation in this Campaign also signifies his/her agreement to access the Website at regular intervals to view
these terms and conditions and to ensure that they are kept up-to-date with any variations or changes which Citibank
may effect from time to time. Eligible Persons also agree that their continued participation in this Campaign will
constitute their acceptance of these terms and conditions (as varied from time to time). For the avoidance of doubt,
any cancellation, termination, withdrawal or suspension by Citibank of this Campaign will not entitle the Eligible
Person to any compensation against Citibank for any and all loss or damage that may be suffered or incurred by the
Eligible Person as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination, withdrawal or suspension.
9. This Campaign shall be subject to the regulations, directives and guidelines of Bank Negara Malaysia, and such other
relevant regulatory bodies.
10. Any terms and conditions applicable to this Campaign which is illegal, prohibited or unenforceable under any law or
regulation shall be ineffective to the extent of such illegality, voidness, prohibition or unenforceability without
invalidating the remaining provisions.

11. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of Malaysia.
