˃ Set up new ONT Connection via optic fibre. Learned about the splicing
operation. First remove Protective coating, then skin down until the
fibre is reached. Use apparatus to obtain a straight cut. clean with
alcohol to first. Same operation for the other end of the cables. clamp
the fibres in the splicing machine. check for loss. if satisfactory then,
put protective coating and melt to fix splice.)
˃ Arrange cable in ATB and then connect to ONT via a drop cable.
˃ Placement of new ONT and Telephone line at champ de mars.

Thursday 9th ˃ Investigate cameras status around P-Louis (12 cameras total) check if

˃ Set up an MA Box in Astor Court.

o Connect to an FDP using a patch code cable as input.
o Box has 8 TEL port and 4 DATA ports.
o Even values are at top.
o Indexes are alternate.
o Take a fibre connection and split in into 8 TEL port.
˃ Learned about connecting RJ11 using clamp.
