This Technical Note provides information in addition to that contained in the Workshop
Repair Manual M.R. 324 concerning fitting and assembly of the front end jig as well as
removal-refitting the cab separation panel.

The repair methods given by the manufacturer in this document are based on the
technical specifications current when it was prepared.
The methods may be modified as a result of changes by the manufacturer in the
production of the various component units and accessories from which his vehicles
are constructed".

Points A and B are the reference points for fitting the jig onto the vehicle.

Before fitting, it is necessary to check to make sure during diagnosis that these points are correct.

Points D, E, F, G and their symmetry serve primarily for the securing and fitting of replaced components (e.g.,
headlamp carrier, wing panel).

But when one of points A or B cannot be used as a reference point (detected during diagnosis), these are the
points for the side opposite the impact which may possibly serve as a reference point for fitting.

Note for fitting the jig :

The jig is supplied in dismantled form and it is essential to assemble the various components before using it to
repair a vehicle. To do this, secure sections 1 and 2 using bars 3 and 4 and bolts H and C. The bars 5 are used
to fit the top of the jig to the bulkhead stiffener at the point of the screen wiper bracket mounting.
