New Damper Retainer Plate June 2006

Due to continuous product improvement, a new damper retainer plate (A1) has been introduced from engine
serial number W-----N2125769 dated 9th May 2006.

The new damper retainer plate (FGW part number 10000-07663) has replaced the old damper retainer plate
(FGW part number 986-910).
In addition to the new damper retainer plate, the torque for the 12.9 grade bolts (FGW part number
10000-12888) has increased to 163 Nm (120 lbf ft) 16.6 kgf m.
The new torque figure must only be applied to the new damper retainer plate (FGW part number
10000-07663). The new damper retainer plate has a thickness of 15.24 mm (0.6 inch).
