Essay Writing Contest

1. The Essay Writing Contest will be open to all students and alumnus of JPIA in the region.
2. The Essay will be based on this year’s theme which is to be given by PICPA General Santos.
3. The Essay will be in two Categories: Filipino and English
4. Students can only join only one of the two categories.
5. The Minimum words for the Essay Contest will be 500 and participants are allowed to go over
the given minimum.
6. Essays will be in pdf format and sent to NFJPIA-R12 VP Academic’s email.
7. There will be three winners per category.
8. The judges will be coming from PICPA. GenSan
9. The Essay will be submitted not later than July 17. 2020 12:00 PM
10. Criteria:
Relevance to the theme 40%
Impact to the Reader 30%
Organization of thoughts 20%
Uniqueness 10%

Online Quiz: Short Problems

1. The Online Quiz Contest will be open to all students and alumnus of JPIA in the region.
2. The Online Quiz will be posted in the page of NFJPIA-R12.
3. The Online Quiz will only be exclusive to Short Accounting Problems.
4. The 1st THREE CORRECT ANSWER in the comment will be given a prize.
5. Each day there will be 3 Short Problems to be posted on specific intervals: 1 st Question will be
posted at 7:00AM, 2nd Problem will be at 12:00 PM and the 3rd Problem will be at 4:00PM
6. Participants can only win once a day.
7. There will be three winners per problem.

Accounting Quizbowl

1. The Accounting Quizbowl Contest will be open to all student members of NFJPIA.
2. The Quizbowl will be conducted july, 2020
3. The Quizbowl will be a mixture of all CPA Board Subjeccts.
4. There will be 10 questions per level(easy, Average, Difficult)
5. Contestants will be ranked accordingly every round.
6. There will be 5 winners.
7. There will be short problems, theory and long solving.
