14 League of Nations
Wanted an alliance system. Was too realistic.

Now choose at least one point that your character approves of and one they don’t, and use this framework to write a letter to Wilson from
your character.

Dear President Wilson

I have now had the chance to look carefully at your Fourteen Points and I would like to express my views on a number of the points.
Alsace–Lorraine
I strongly agree with your point on because this weakens Germany as they lose their industries
making it impossible for it to rise to power again.

However, I strongly disagree with point 14 on league of nations

because I believe that war may still break out and a league of nations will not work as well as an alliance
where we are reassured that even when war breaks out the other parties will protect us rather than the
League of Nations.

On the whole, I believe that the Fourteen Points will weaken Germany for some time but not long enough.

Yours sincerely

Clemenceau/Lloyd George
