National Management
Convention. Delphique is
India’s only B-school event
which focuses on strong
research in various domains
of management. Derived
from the famous ‘Delphi’
method, the event provides
the perfect platform for
practitioners & thought
leaders from the industry,
academia and the student populace to come together to discuss contemporary
issues faced by the industry.
MDI Gurgaon organized Delphique – The National Management Convention at its
campus partnering with 24 companies with the presence of more than 65 corporate
leaders and industry stalwarts. This was the 20th year of Delphique and the
convention stayed true to its theme of Research, Review and Resolve with the
involvement of over 800 attendees & participants. Yes Bank and The Times Group
Dare2Compete were the sponsors of the event which was also supported by IDBI
Bank, Teakwood Leathers and BMW Bird automotive.
Famously known as the Red Carpet event of MDI, Delphique is a confluence of three
events:
1. Research Panel Discussions – Faculty mentored research coupled with a
high profile panel discussion
2. Vincenza - International Business Plan competition
3. Cerebro - National Case Study Challenge.

Delphique got extensive corporate participation from knowledge partners such

as RPG, ICRA, Ericsson, Shoppers Stop, Equirus, Ogilvy & Mather and Kantar
Millward Brown. With many research panels on board, the research panel
discussions provided a platform for students to present their ideas and research
findings across to the corporates and thereby learn from their experiences.
Delphique also conducted a National Case study competition called Cerebro in
association with The Times Group. More than 200 participants across top b-schools
of India took part in the competition and teams from IIM Lucknow, XLRI Jamshedpur,
SCMHRD Pune, IMT Ghaziabad and MDI Gurgaon made it to the finals of the
competition.
Keeping up with the startup age, a B-plan competition in association with Indian
Angel Network and VCCircle was organised wherein budding entrepreneurs and
emerging start-ups presented their b-plan. A startup from UK also participated in the
competition.
Over the years, Delphique has had a healthy association with leading dailies and
newspapers. Delphique 2016-17 got extensive coverage in Times of India and
Economic Times. Other media partners such as InsideIIM, Your Story, ED and
MBA Rendezvous also covered the event.
