Textbook Problem 1.2-10. Simply trace the ray through its refraction and use geometry to
determine where it intersects the optical axis, i.e. the ray enters the fiber at the center.
Here we assume that the ray will be within the angle of acceptance, and that the ray will
enter the fiber as long as it hits the center. The latter assumption is based on the fact that
the core (high refractive index region) of a fiber is typically considerably smaller than the
diameter of the whole fiber.
