” Composting & Recycling of Municipal Solid Waste”
Dr. Seema Jilani ,Currently working as Associate Professor in University of Karachi, Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and
objects. Recyclable materials include many kinds of glass, paper, cardboard,
having a PhD in Environmental Science from University of Karachi, Pakistan and ME in
Environmental Science & Technology from IHE, Delft, The Netherlands. She has been
serving in various faculty positions for last 28 years. She has authored two books and metal, plastic, tires, textiles, and electronics. The composting or other reuse of
biodegradable waste, such as food or garden waste is also
several research publications to her credit in the journals of national and international
repute. She is the recipient of NFP from the Netherlands Ministry, Charles Wallace Visiting

Dr. Seema Jilani

Fellowship from the British Council, UK and a scholarship from the Flemish Inter University considered recycling
Council, Ministry of Belgium.
