Obedience and Punctuality in Class

The interview conducted showed that the participants saw obedience and punctuality as two
mutually inclusive things and are also important in having an effective learning in the classroom.
Awareness on the rules and regulations of the school system also contributes a lot on students’
behaviors especially dealing with following conduct. Obedience have been also compared to students
who are punctual, which is one of the common rules in a classroom (Manaf, 2017).

Students’ punctuality can also be impacted by the performance of the teacher handling them,
hence why it is important for teachers to also be punctual in classes they must attend to. According to
Butakor and Boatey (2018), a teacher’s attendance can greatly impact the behaviors of their students in
school. Having great supervision is key to implementing an effective learning system that encourages
students to comply with their works and be punctual in classes.

Dynamism in Classrooms

Engagement in classroom had always been linked to effective performance of students. In fact,
having a great dynamic inside a learning community makes way for effective learning and a good
relationship between individuals in the community. This is especially important in higher education as it
even affects dropout rates in secondary and higher education institutions. The more engaged students
are, they are more likely to succeed in the class and make better relationships and connections in life
(Bond, 2020).

Commitment to Work

Studies show that being committed to something in life, whether it is work or personal matters,
results to desirable outcomes in personal development and enhancing core values. In a study by Shan
(2016), being committed to work is always related to being successful in life and having discipline in the
workplace. Discipline is hard to achieve and is always a faltering characteristic in individuals, but by
being committed to improve in the workplace, this can impact one’s work life positively.
