Instructions for Students regarding Summative Exams

As per the instruction of Madurai Kamaraj University, the summative exams for April 2020
will be conducted through online. The students should strictly follow the following guidelines (as said
by Madurai Kamaraj University) while writing exams:
 Semester Exams will begin on 21st September 2020 and end on 29th September 2020.
 Exams for arts students (UG and PG) is scheduled between 09 a.m. and 12 p.m.
 Exams for science students (UG and PG) is scheduled between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
 Question papers will be uploaded in our college website. Your course teachers will also
share/forward the question paper through email and through WhatsApp.
 For students who appear for exams at 09.00 a.m. question papers will be uploaded at
08.45 a.m. in our college website. You can download the question paper and start
writing the exams.
 For students who appear for exams at 11.00 a.m. question papers will be uploaded at
10.45 a.m. in our college website. You can download the question paper and start
writing the exams.
 Exams should be written only in A4 sheets. You can use two sides of a paper.
 Students should write their name, major, registration number and sign at the top right
corner of all the sheets.
 In the first page of your answer papers, you should mention the starting time of the
exam, sign in it and your parent/guardian should also sign.
 In the last page of your answer papers, you should mention the ending time of the exam,
sign in it and your parent/guardian should also sign.
 The answer papers must be scanned and converted in pdf with proper page order and
uploaded in the provision/link given in our college website.
 The size of your pdf answer scripts should not exceed 100 mb.
 You should upload your answer papers within one hour after the completion of the
examination.
 Save your pdf answer papers with your register number
 Keep/Retain your hand written answer papers safe. You may be asked to submit it with
your department, when you get your Transfer Certificate (TC)
In case if you are unable to upload the answer papers:
 Students who are nearby the college can submit the exam papers to the Controller’s
Office within one hour of exams.
  Students can also send the hard copy of the answers only through speed post, which
must be done within one hour of exams.
 Students who cannot write online exams should appear for supplementary exams,
which would be announced later, as per Tamilnadu Government’s order.
 A Mock online test will be conducted for Value Based Education on 19th September
2020(as per above instructions). Students can utilize this chance in downloading and
uploading the question paper and answer sheets and clarify their doubts.
