Possessive adjectives

We use Possessive adjectives to show a sense of possession of a particular


person or thing.

There is a possessive adjective according to a person (subject).

Now we will see some examples of possessive adjectives:

I love my dog.

You love your dog.

He is playing with his dog.


She is playing with her dog.

It is in its home.

We are playing with our dogs.

They are playing with their


dogs

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Be careful! Not to confuse its and it's.

Its = The possessive adjective for It.

It's =a contraction of it is.
