Verb to Have

Hello guys!

Today, we are going to study the affirmative and negative form of the
verb have. Let’s get started!

In affirmative sentences, WE USE HAVE with, I, They, You, and We.

I You For example:


They
-I have four brothers.
-Mario and Susan have a daughter.
have -Raul and I have a beautiful house.

We -You have a problem.

We use HAS with He, She and It.

He
She For example:

She has a cold.


He has a big house.

It Has That dog has a long tail.


To make negative sentences, we use the auxiliary “don’t” with
I, We, You, and They.

Let’s change these affirmative sentences into negative ones:

-We have a beautiful house.(affirmative)


-We don’t have a beautiful house.(negative)

-I have four brothers.(affirmative)


-I don’t have four brothers.(negative)

-You have green eyes.(affirmative)

-Carlos and Sara have a son.(affirmative)


-Carlos and Sara don’t have a son.(negative)
We use the auxiliary “doesn’t” with He, She and It.
