S-COAT E41 is a amine-adduct epoxy coating designed for protection of steel and concrete surfaces. It has excellent
adhesion and durability with abrasion, corrosion, chemical, water and oil resistances

Used for steel and cement surfaces chemical, oil and
abrasion resistant coating is required.

Application Procedure
Applied over Concrete, steel
1. Surface Preparation
Steel Surface Components 2
Blast cleaning to minimum Sa 21/2 ISO 8501-1:1988 or
other equivalent international standard Mixing ratio (vol) part A : part B = 4 : 1
The primed surface free from any abrasive residues,
Volume solid (%) 50 ± 3%
dust, oil, moisture and other contaminants.
Concrete Surface Recommended (D.F.T.) 50 ~ 150 ㎛
Prepare the surface free from any loose cement, dust,
oil, moisture and other contaminants. Coats 1~3
2. Environmental conditions
Air temperature : 10~35℃ Theoretical coverage 10.0 ㎡/L(@ D.F.T. 50 ㎛)
Surface temperature : 5~30℃
*Allow for applicationlosses and surfaceirregularities.
Relative humidity : up to 85%
Dew Point: 3C Dry through (25℃) 16 hrs
3. Application Equipment
Full hardness (25℃) 7 days
- Conventional or airless spray, power mixer, roller
- Airless spray: Tip size-0.017~0.023inch Dry to recoat (25℃) 16hrs ~ 3 days
Output pressure-2100psi/143atm
-Recommended thinning ratio: about 5~20% Pot life (25℃) 6 hours after mixing

4. Safety precautions Thinner KoA THINNER 395
1) Mixing ratio must be observed and uniformly stir with
12 months from manufacture
a power mixer for about 3~5minutes before use. Shelf life date when stored in-doors at
(Use an electric mixer from 1000RPM,500W)

2) Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
3) Keep adequate ventilation during application.
4) Use the mixed material within pot life.(25℃,4hrs) Recommended primer(If necessary,)
5) Do not mix with other paint products.
6) If necessary, add up to 10% thinner by volume for - Steel: KOA POXY 130ZP
application by Roller and brush, airless spray - Concrete: S-COAT EP
7) If it is to be applied over steel, it has to be used in
combination with the appropriate primers
