Martial arts are codified systems and
traditions of combat practiced for a num-
ber of reasons such as self-defense; mili-
tary and law enforcement applications;
competition; physical, mental, and spir-
itual development; entertainment; and
the preservation of a nation's intangible
cultural heritage.
Although the term martial art has be-
come associated with the fighting arts of
East Asia, it originally referred to the
combat systems of Europe as early as the
1550s. The term is derived from Latin
and means "arts of Mars", the Roman
god of war. Some authors have argued
that fighting arts or fighting systems
would be more appropriate on the basis
that many martial arts were never
"martial" in the sense of being used or

Life Giant Profile
Life Giant is a Zimbabwe born Christian, Radio
Personality, Filmmaker, Content Creator, Musi-
cian, and Motivational Speaker. Born 15th June
1990 at Harare Hospital in Harare, he lives in
Mabvuku one of the biggest suburbs Harare. He
did his primary school at Mabvuku Primary
School 1996 first term to early second term and
then transferred to David Livingstone 1996
early second term to grade seven, secondary
school Mabvuku High 2007 to 2010. He got

ground, they even go as far as looking at

Many are told that the sky is the limit
and they have believed it and there a life

when the statement ―the sky is the limit
trickles in their minds and that‘s how
there are programmed to think.
Today I want to say this to you there is
nothing called the sky is the limit and it
does not exist at all, it‘s a statement that
was created by failures and those who
have failed in their lives, what exist it‘s
you who creates your own sky above
yourself that is limiting you today and
forever.
Let me ask you every simple question if
the sky is the limit, was it possible for
the first man to travel to space, see here

the most successful first man to travel to
space without any hindrances and many
today are traveling to space.
Remove the sky is the limit mindset from
yourself today and now. You can achieve
anything and everything you want to

7 REASONS WHY MUSIC IS IM-
PORTANT TO US
1. The Universal Language
While every country has it‘s own language
(s), there‘s only one language we can all
understand: the language of music. We don‘t
even need words to understand what music is
saying. Every year I see a lot of different
people from a lot of different countries at-
tending festivals. When the music is being
played, it seems every one understands
what‘s coming out of the speakers and they
just start dancing to it.
2. Ambiance
Music creates ambiance. It adds up to the
experience of whatever you‘re doing. Can
you imagine a party without music, a sports
event without music, or a movie without
music? Probably not.
3. Music Unites
Music plays a very important role in bring-
ing people together. Whether it‘s a festival,
concert or a club night, people come together
to enjoy the music that‘s being played. I‘ve
had the privilege to attend a few big festivals
in Europe, and it‘s amazing to see the
amount of people coming from different
countries in the whole world, just to be part
of the experience. At festivals like Tomor-
rowland or Ultra, you‘ll see a lot of people
from all over the world to enjoy the whole
musical experience. It doesn‘t matter where
you come from, every one is treated the
same. This is something we can all learn
from.
4. Focus
If I have to do some business related stuff,
I‘d like to put on some music at the back-
ground in order to focus a little better. It is
scientifically proven that music enhances
brain functioning. Besides, listening to music
in an environment with other people also
makes sure you don‘t get distracted by other
people‘s noises. For me as a producer, a
good side thing is I get inspired a lot by lis-
tening to music when I‘m busy doing things.
5. Emotions
Music can do great things for your mood. If
you want to feel happy, you can listen to
songs that are happy and this works the other
way around too. When you lost someone in
your life, it‘s helpful to listen to sad songs.
Science says listening to sad songs can actu-
ally make you happier. If you want to know
more about this, Google knows a lot ;)
6. Imagination
I don‘t think I‘m the only one who listens to
music and instantly has a vision in my head
of surroundings that would fit that particular
music piece. Music let‘s your imagination
flow and that‘s obviously a good thing for
your creativity and health.
7. Memory
Music is good for your memory. I bet you
can remember the lyrics of a bunch of songs

6 Healthy Habits for a Healthy Life
1. Get your exercise
Regular exercise is probably the closest
we can get to a fountain of youth. Ac-
cording to the National Cancer Insti-
tute, regular exercise helps control
weight, maintain healthy bones, mus-
cles, and joints, and reduces our risk of
high blood pressure, heart disease, and
diabetes. Further, about 260,000 deaths
per year in the U.S. are attributable to
the lack of physical activity.
2. Always eat breakfast
Research shows that people who have
breakfast tend to take in more vitamins
and minerals and less fat and cholester-
ol. Eating things that are high in fiber
and proteins keeps you feeling full and
energized. These include whole-grain
cereals and breads, low-fat milk, fruit,
and yogurt.
3. Practice healthy eating throughout
the day
This habit includes such things as eat-
ing more fruit and nuts and avoiding
sugary drinks and snacks. At meal time,
the American Heart Association recom-
mends a serving of fish twice a week.
Besides being a rich source of protein,
fatty fish (mackerel, salmon, lake trout,
herring, sardines, and albacore tuna)
have omega-3 fatty acids which reduce
the threat of heart disease.
4. Stay hydrated
Getting the proper amount of water is
extremely important as every cell, tis-
sue, and organ in our bodies needs
water. Traditionally we‘re told we need
eight 8-ounce glasses of water daily, an
amount that‘s never been substantiated
medically. Perhaps a better guide is to
try to drink enough water that you uri-
nate once every 2-4 hours, and the
urine is light in color.
5. Don‘t neglect dental hygiene
At the end of a long day, how many
take the time to floss? Some studies
indicate that regular flossing could add
over 6 years to your life. Why? The
theory is that the bacteria that produce
dental plaque enter the bloodstream and
are somehow associated with inflam-
mation that blocks blood vessels and
causes heart disease. So, get in the
habit of giving your teeth a good bed-
time flossing and add years to your life.
6. Get your sleep
Sleep is crucial to our wellbeing. As we
