ACTIVITY 1
A. Briefly but substantially answer the following problems in your own words.

1. Who is a teacher and who is a learner?

The teacher is a person who teach and help the students or learners
to acquire knowledge, virtue or competence and the learner is the person
who absorbs and analyzes the concepts and knowledge given by the
teacher.

2. How do you understand the term "assessment"

Assessment is about student performance or progress or to
determine the students interests to make judgment about their learning
process.

3. When can you say that the student has the learning?
If the student can recall or remember the lesson and apply what they
have learned in real situations and when students can think more deeply
and work things out.

4. Summarize the educational purposes of NCBTS?

The National Competency-Based Teacher Standards (NCBTS)
provides a single framework that define effective teaching in all aspects of
a teacher's professional life and in all phases of teacher development. It
minimize confusion about what effective teaching is. Lastly, it provides a
better guide for all teacher development programs and projects from the
school level up to the national level.

5. What is meant by the "diversity of learning" domain?

Emphasizes the ideal that the teachers can facilitate the learning
process in diverse types of learners, by first recognizing and respecting
individual differences, then using knowledge about students' differences to
design diverse sets of learning activities to ensure that all students can
attain appropriate learning goals.
B. Fill out the Venn-Diagram by pointing out similarities and differences of
