 Using Prokon software professionally and to make the commands and tools effectively applicable.
 Improving students’ knowledge about the construction materials and the concepts of designing structural
elements.
 Designing all the structural elements; (Beams, Slabs, Columns, Foundations, and Walls) according to the
Jordanian code, BS8110 Code and ACI code.
 Drawing all the structural elements (columns, walls, foundations, slabs and beams) manually to show
sections’ rebars.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

 Understanding the main concepts of the structural design.
 To make sure that the students are capable to design all the structural elements using
ETABS and SAFE softwares.
 To make sure that the students are capable to detail all the structural elements using
ETABS and SAFE softwares.
 Dedicating the seismic design concepts for the attendees of the course.
 To aware the Civil Engineer about the linkage between the structural design and the
implementation at the site.

Buildings Design Using ETABS & SAFE training course includes the following topics:

 1 - MODULE 1: ETABS software (for columns & shear walls)
