Policies

Bags and other personal items must be placed in the


designated areas during laboratory classes.
Consumption of food and beverages inside the laboratory is
strictly prohibited.
Keep your workstations clean at all times.
Do not roam around the laboratory. Call the attention of your
instructor if you need anything.

Requirement Percentage
Experiments 50%
Practical Exam/s 30%
Design 20%

Late for Experiment (40 minutes after start of class)


experiment grade = % class time remaining * experiment grade
Missed Experiment
1st, with valid excuse → will not be counted in the average
succeeding, with/without valid excuse → zero
no valid excuse → zero
Missed Practical Exam or Design
1st, with valid excuse → makeup practicals
succeeding, with/without valid excuse → zero
no valid excuse → zero
Note: % class time remaining will be rounded down to the nearest integer that is divisible by 5

Each student must have been added to our UVLe section. It will
be the same as the UVLe used for the lecture class.

Emergency Situations
Everyone is responsible for his/her own safety including the
safety of others
In case of Injury
First Aid Kits for light wounds
Proceed to infirmary
In case of Fire
Fire extinguisher for small/controllable fires
Follow the guidance of your lab instructor and calmly proceed
to evacuation area.
In case of Earthquake
Duck, Cover and Hold
Calmly proceed to evacuation area after earthquake.

Your Workstation

Inspect if all equipment and accessories are present in your


work station.
Observe proper care and usage of each equipment and
component used in the laboratory.
Report anything that is broken or malfunctioning at once.
Return each equipment and component to its proper
placement and position after use.
Turn off and unplug all equipment after each session.
